Hi! I own a korg ds-10 and have been doing some stuff with it and my kaossilator (check my channel). Do you think I should buy this synth? I0ve ust discovered it and have been thinking of getting one. Is it very hard to use? I know very little about music and gears... : D
Hardware sequencers are always going to a be a bit more complicated than software, due to their limitations in terms of memory capacity (and thus sequence capacity!) and the notable lack of mouse (and keyboard shortcuts!) But, these things arguably add to a hardware sequencer's charm... I miss mine since selling it. And am now looking to buy one of these little terrors for making quick little musical sketches.
@RDyt Could not have said it better; the limitations on some of these sequencers are their biggest appeal; forces one to think creatively, not lazily!
