we are closer to the big white house you refer to in your comment on my other vid. From the water looking at the big house around from Curlys, we are to the right.
I live in Summerville and we have a place relatively close to yours. We had some pretty bad hail that day, too. Our place is about 5 or 6 lots down from big oak campground.
i live on little nose....we didnt get it that bad over here. i think the worst of that storm stayed up towards the sand rock/gaylesville/cedar bluff area. however, lightning blew apart a tree in my neighbors yard during that storm though
Yes, that is very sad.... I heard she died of something to do with the brain.... i'm not sure of what JR died of. I love lake weiss, I also love the occasional pelican that comes by and gets his feed. You have a nice backyard by the way and nice view of the lake.
We love Weiss too! My father-in-law bought this lot in 1966. My husband has lived here most of his life. The pelicans are awesome and I love to take photos of them when they come in the huge flocks. Thanks for your kind remarks about our home.
@BURNKEL Not any more one shot the other with a pistol when he came into the store because they thought each other was stealing money the son that ran the guide service is in jail and Kurt Tucker is on disability.
WOW, what a scary video. I have a camper down at the lake. I live near summerville where the tornado hit, so after the storm we went to check out the camper, had no idea that this went on just a few hours before. Saw no damage to camper btw. Thank God!.
Some minor damage but not as bad as it could have been. Our neighbors to the west on Lake Guntersville were hit by a tornado in this storm. We had never seen hail like this before. Bigger than golfballs!!

northeast, somewhat near JR's Marina
BURNKEL 2 years ago
Oh, I stayed up there a few days with some family. I heard that JR and his wife both died.

Yes, sadly within six months of each other. The sons are running the Marina now. We will miss Jerry & Geraldine Tucker.
