I can't say much about the Dead. I'm only 17 years old, but have been listening to them my whole life. I saw The Other Ones in 2000 when i was only 9. This February I am going to see Furthur. I like all of the newer projects they do. They still put out amazing music even though it's not the same.

yeah, that hit the spot... Its nice to see some enthusiasm in the lead player. I don't really care who's playing, as long as they care. I was always a backer of Steve Kimock ever since Further Fest 98'. If 'Jerry Guy' (as he's been referred too often I've noticed) is going to have the most passion for this music, then that's who aught to be playing. Not to nitpick, but I think Jay should sit down behind his kit w/more focus on percussion rather than straight percussion. IMO.

Love the gratitude for all of Warren's hard work and deadication in learning all of the Dead's songs and completing an exhausting Spring Tour without even missing a beat. Warren Haynes knows how to play like Warren Haynes and doesn't have to copy somebody else's playing and drown himself out with midi ,echoes, and reverb while he completely drowns out the original band.
