I just saw this film two weeks ago and I can't stop watching it. I read the play several times in the past but wow...these actresses are so amazing. Such an inspiration.
I love your video ! Very well done ! Take a look at mine sometime ! I have played the role of Martha Dobie in a stage production of this piece, and I must say, no other character has reached me as thoroughly. RIP Martha.
@OnlyJustWhisper Isn't it ! I made two videos, but I'm sure this one is better than both of them. If you're interested, have at look at them as well. Cheers !
This is fantastic! Poor martha : ( I wish there was more fanfic(both vid and written) made for this movie. It's a beautiful story and deserves much more attention.
Its a shame that Martha was unable to accept herself and endure the pain of being "different". Its still painful watching the ending scene. This is a timeless classic with great acting, great cast, great script, etc. the list goes on and on. R.I.P. Martha Dobie.
I just found this movie and I loooove it!! I get all choked up watching this hated that Martha died. Amazing song choice, love this video great job :)
This is amazing! It really shows how great the acting in this movie was. Without the cheesy dialouge, you can see the love in both Martha and Karen's eyes. Really, really, really well done.
@mixforpeace Cheesy dialogue? Really? This text is a masterpiece. Surely augmented by stellar performances, but come now. Is certainly an elevated style, but hardly cheesy.
in my own opinion, I thought Martha killed herself because she believe she had destroy Karen's life.......
it so sad

@mixforpeace ~ Do you really think that Lillian Hellman wrote cheesy dialogue? Is it any more cheesy than this song?
