  • Ruth was gone already. I saw him in LA on New Year's Eve '77 and he had Terry Bozzio and a new lineup: Tommy Mars, etc. This has to be closer to early 70's.

  • One of Zappa's greatest guitar improvisations. Many thanks for posting. Wish the full concert was available. Maybe you already noticed but this video is in a key that's higher than the one from the original recording, at least the one from the Dub Room Special DVD. I don't know about music theory so I hope you know what I mean. Oh, and that's right, it's 1974, when he was still with the Mothers. Thanx again!
