rockers like zappa wrote and played music because they loved to do it . they didnt care how much money they made. yah money is nice but its second to the music.

Ruth was gone already. I saw him in LA on New Year's Eve '77 and he had Terry Bozzio and a new lineup: Tommy Mars, etc. This has to be closer to early 70's.

Great stuff,Always wanted tosee this solo befoe the animation kicks in.Zappa just doesn't sound like anyone else when soloing.

One of Zappa's greatest guitar improvisations. Many thanks for posting. Wish the full concert was available. Maybe you already noticed but this video is in a key that's higher than the one from the original recording, at least the one from the Dub Room Special DVD. I don't know about music theory so I hope you know what I mean. Oh, and that's right, it's 1974, when he was still with the Mothers. Thanx again!
