What is Sammy playing here? Some kind of top tension, but it doesn't look like a Gibson headstock at all. Reminds me of a Deering headstock, but I never heard of him playing a Deering. Help me out someone.
To me this is the real deal here. You can't beat Dan & Ronnie's harmony. They were so tight they could breath in harmony. The instrumentation brought out "accents" on certain phrases of the music that made the band even tighter. They were the first doing it.. younger players were very influenced by this band. This was by far the best Combination of the Lonesome River band. Any one could hear the chemistry these boys had. They all know they were in the pocket. musically...
Best of the Best for LRB..... Don't get any better than this.

@drewby613 It's an original RB-7 Gibson top-tension. That's what they look like.

@cdbattis Thanks for that. Man, it sure sounds great. Were there other Gibson models with that headstock shape, as well?
