  • Bahahahaha, this is funny as heck. Are there similarities? Well... yeah. But I mean, it is a very simple line, simple and powerful. Rest in Peace Gary. I miss you.

  • Look at all the songs Gary wrote and look at how many songs Jud's gallery wrote!Their creativ output speaks for itself!Jud's gallery was obviously looking for easy money and fame on Gary's hard work and unfortunately found the right judge for their plan.

  • I still think this whole plagiarism thing is bullsh.. There might be some similarities, but people have been doing music music literally for ages nd I am sure if you search long enough you will find similarities for all melodies at one point. If I am not mistaken the song from Jud's gallery was played 1 time during the 70ies in the radio and Gary supposedly heard it back then and 16 years later copied it.Come on!

  • Doesnt matter at all. Gary was great no matter how you looked at it.

His songs were full of power and emotion. True Moore fans dont give a damn about Juds Gallery and wheter he stole it or not.

  • Moore heard Jud's gallery back in 70's!!!!!

  • even in the original version SWF sessions!!! Gary Moore stole it!!!

  • It's a CLEAR plagiarism!!!!!

  • alls I'm saying is....Juds won a lawsuit....Gary had to pay. But, as stated prior...this is just a common chord progression...RIP gary.

  • Und bei Deep Purple in dem Song Fault Line von 1969 ( 1Min 10) gibt es diesen berühmten Gitarrenriff auch schon, also wer war hier zuerst da.

  • I'm SURE Gary Moore was a big follower of these guys. I lived in Gemany for 2 years and never heard of them. The judge is an idiot.

  • The judge was wrong, both songs use a standard chord sequence in use for centuries.

The original Jud version is in 4/4...now they play it in 6/8 to try and illustrate the similarity!

  • Until i see Juds Gallery playing this tune dated BEFORE Gary Moore wrote ''still got the blues'' then i don't trust any videos comparing

  • nice little video I think. BTW they are both Autumn Leaves... As is Parisienne Walkways and One Day, all variations on a simple theme, Gary was always up front about it...

  • @kissyxander Exactly!!!!! Thank you very much sir!

  • Se for ouvido prestando muita atenção a melodia lembra vagamente, mas o que o juds quis foi ganhar dinheiro, porque plagio é quando a musica é identica, o que não ocorre nesse caso.

  • if anything...tis improv...

  • well, both of them looks like the chorus from Lionel Richie's "Hello". Just saying

  • In 2007 Juds copied the Gary Moore style !!!!!

  • The chords are different.

    The melody is different.

The melody is similar to 50 different gospel songs for goodness sake!

    Juds did a bad thing.

They could only hope their song sounded that good !!!

  • if you want a compare, then please compare with the original song from 1974...

That song sounds a bit more different than this one from 2007....

  • Jud's Gallery sued GM, got a lot of money, and now they use GM in the tags of their videos to promote them. Fair, isn't it? Of course comments are moderated in their videos...

  • yes it looks like he stole the riff

  • sound nothing like each other. Juds sounds like he needs some guitar lessons first !!!

  • @yorkshiretractors BlaH blah blah third channel I've seen this on.

  • There is NO WAY these two pieces of music could be considered to be similar, if the judge went against GM then he had shit in his ears & shit for brains!

  • If for one minute you Gary Moore was shit, then my friend you have shit in your ears!!!. the two pieces of music are similar granted, but without a doubt Moore is by far the better player. R.I.P Gary ....You will be missed..
