@urkomplex yeah i dunno about the vox, they worked well on the original. Might still use them but not as much and add some synths where the vox are instead to jazz it up a little. Thanks man :)

@Pirate454 Question, when you export the track to a wav (or aiff), does it come out at the loudness level you want? I master mine to stay out of the red, but when I bounce the track, the track is about 6-10dB quieter than (professionally mastered) mp3s. It's not much but it's enough that I have to click up my mp3 player a few notches when I listen. Do you do any post-processing outside of Reason?

No i don't do any post-processing and i've noticed aswell that my tracks aren't as loud - Which i personally dont get because i use a maximiser at the end of the chain which is hitting the 0db mark - anymore would induce audio clipping, so i don't get how you can actually make it and louder :/. I'll keep you posted on this one.

@Pirate454 Odd. Well, I have (an unstable, old copy of) Steinberg Wavelab, and they have a really nifty multi-band compressor VST plugin. I'm going to play around with that and see if I can get the song to sound the way I want it. Audacity should be able to do the same sort of thing, and it's free.

Actually, the extra headroom might be useful in boosting the low end. Never can have enough bass. Never. :D

Hey man, great work so far, but the synth needs to be thickened a little more for me...and the drums need to be turned down. Other than that, the quality is sick (I downloaded the sendspace version btw) and it sounds dark, while still being full. You're getting better and better mate, keep up the awesome work! :D

@NemesisRecordings Nice one man, i'm gonna beef up the synths, layer them a bit more, i've found turning the synths up instead of the drums down has actually worked well without muddying the mix, so it sounds even fuller now :). Thanks for your input man, much appreciated :)

@PuzzleDNB Thnx, yeah i knew that would be a dodgey sample to put in, but it was part of a sample pack i bought and i thought i mayaswell use them at some point. They worked well with the original i thought ;). I personally don't like Mc's, mainly when they just seem to be blabbering a load of jibberish, but i think i might keep them in. Dunno :). Thanks anyway man.

I am not an expert but the drum set sounds loud to me. The music is buried behind the kick and the snare, its like listening the same drum loop all the time with some effects on the top.

I like the older version better.
