IMO, I prefer a supercar to have the sound of a V12, V10 or flat lane V8. Not putting down a cross flow V8 like the LS engines, it's just my preference. It's not just the flat out performance but rather the sound emanating that tickles my fancy.

The "junk" part comes from the way they are assembled, things that make you cringe for a car priced at $330k+. Currently the engineering department is a joke as well.

The only cars that are proprietary (All parts engineered for that car) cost HUGE amounts of money (i,e Veyron) And you know what? They are usually nowhere near as fast and as efficient. A Veyron weighs over 4000 pounds. This Mosler weighs half that. No Veyron owner would be stupid enough to race one on a track.

@TheJustin993 the inside is like that because the car is not a luxury supercar like a lamborghini 640, MB SLR or bugatti veyron. There are only things you need to drive in the cockpit. This car is much lighter (round about 1000kg) then other supercars, only built for max performance, even a koenigsegg weight 1400kg and a zonda F is heavier too.

This is americas attempt at supercars. First off they build it on a racecar because its a hell of a lot cheaper than supercar materials, throw in a huge V8 and forget all the electronics and driving aids.. because there isnt any. Result is a racecar with numberplates and way too much HP. Like all american performance it fails to appeal and people buy a Ferrari instead.

It may fail to appeal to you, but this car DEFINATELY doesnt fail in performance. Look up any reviews on this car and you'll its a monster in the straights and around the circuit. If you dont like it then dont watch the vids. Ferrari uses a 6.0 v12 in the enzo, lambo puts a 6.5 v12 in the lp670, and pagani put a 7.3 v12 in the zonda, and you say this engine is huge...get over yourself. Post some vids of your collection...you dont have anything that compares to this.

SSC only made 20 aeros as a breaking point into the industry putting their name on the map. Mosler is known in the racing industry so its not like they need to.

Plus they dont charge 1mil for their car. The CCX is 1mil plus, the mosler is 300k. Thats whats keeping them in business,mosler can afford to stay in business due to racing. And saleen isnt out of business neither, theyre another company in the racing community.

But there are a few American cars with more leather in them now, or the option to get leather interior, including Cadillac CTS-V, Corvette Z06, among others. If you Europeans gave credit where it's due, that it's changing, maybe we would talk civilized to you and debate about cars, but you Euros hardly ever give credit, so it's always fighting. ;)
