No offense to the engineers at BMW; I believe this is an excellent step forward in automotive technology, but that's just being lazy; that feature is a conversational piece and for what? An extra $3,000 to the MSRP?

@sablelieger I do not believe it is just about being lazy. It is about reducing parking related crashes, and considering parallel parking is one of the hardest ways to park it makes sense. I would also assume if this was pushed through insurance companies it would lower rates.
