  • ...and when mother nature decides to reward you for being eco friendly with a bath/shower, you'd be wishing you were in your gas guzzler

  • great """""

  • Cute

  • it looks like a demented baby driving a pram

  • Boy,that thing screams!Really hauls a.....

  • Yes, Busettii Bikes have the good pedaling system so you can use it as a bike or pedal with the motor. I have one and it runs about 75--85 miles per charge but you can also pedal like a regular bike. Also, it really goes fast even in throttle mode. Check out busettii dot com if you need more info. ciao

  • I'd buy it and drive it. This is what we should all drive, Mke it a little larger in scale, tho, with motorcycle size wheels and the car proportionte to that size. Get it to go 200 miles on a charge, and reach speeds of 60-70 mph for highway driving...and the sales will take off.

  • what?

  • Put a Trail-a-bike and a 6-year-old on behind and you'll cause accidents everywhere...

  • Please watch:

THE WORLD'S SIMPLEST TRANSMISSION for BICYCLE

  • How do you make one of these? I love it.

  • @lovingfem57

I can make one of those...not hard...it will cost you about $3500...he has two X5 crystalyte motors on the back...that would cost about $1200 for the two motors and a controller...then about $2000 for some really good lithium batteries...there you go

  • It does indeed look like a baby carrier. How much do they cost and where are they available? (Couldn't find any info on that).

  • Nice. I've got to get me one of these!

  • holly shit its a pram lol

    MAD PROPS MAN 100% AWESOME!

How can I get one? or how can I make one myself?

  • Very nice! Is that a double hubmotor?

  • Great idea, but i prefer walking, its healthier.

  • you are right in this one : )

  • Looks like a baby stroller gone mad. Are diapers manditory from the driver?

  • If he 64, ...yeah.

  • When you gotta go and you can't find a bathroom anywhere in the city or in the countryside, it the only last option. But take it from me, get a Gatorade empty bottle. XD

  • O_o ...if baby carriages ran on nitrous that's what they would look like. The speed is great though, just make it look better, perhaps a nice fiberglass cover to make it look more like a car

  • YOU "fuckin spelled fibreglas wrong" (It only has one S, little stud) Ohhh.. never mind, have another dozen beers or so.

  • That "thing" was fast.

  • We could safely build our own vehicles but they don't want that. We have a system that wants everyone to be dependent upon another to produce jobs and make us dependent on others. We could charge these things with solar steam or wood gas. Where I live you have to have insurance register an electric bike with pedals and need to have a cycle endorsement imagine that crap. I am a truck driver if I get caught riding my electric bike I would loose my job.

  • That looks like fun guess you drive it like a army tank with motor controls.

  • Have you seen ' Who killed the electric car? ' What does GM want and why would they kill it. And what's ' solar steam and wood gas?'

  • Electric cars have a life expectancy of 1G where as an ICE is 3K triple the life of a ICE. Cars could be plug in electric solar cars. Or we could have just steam cars with the computer we could build a steam car that would be safe and efficient the steam can be made with bio mass cutting off the oil companies. As for wood gas look up wood gas car on you tube there is a truck and a car. You could look in my fav;'s but it is way in there.

  • A turbo charged "baby buggy"!

  • very nice

  • March 2000:

"Unveiled today at the Toronto International Bicycle Show, being held

at the National Trade Centre, the WIKE "Electric Sun" is a marriage of

the bicycle and the automobile. "Electric Sun" has the power to attain

speeds up to 45 kilometers per hour, but like the bicycle, "Electric

Sun" is a zero emissions vehicle."

    I don't know if anyone's noticed, BUT IT'S NOW 2008.

Also this technology has been available for at least 50 years now.

  • You mean it's a conspiracy? I'm not entirely convinced about that. Another possible cause may be that the general public just isn't ready to make sacrifices like these yet. Or that the vehicle needs updates in the regulations and modifications in the infrastructure and the government doesn't give that priority quickly enough. Perhaps only after years of debating.

  • Hmm. Should have been posted as reply to

    PhilippeDeChampaigne's comment :-/

  • Up until OCT 07 it was illegal to drive e-bikes in Canada. (by law, you MUST pollute)Now, they've installed some really stupid laws. Like an e-bike can have max 300w motor, and max speed of 32kph. I can pedal faster than that. Another absolutely stupid law is that e-bikes have to have pedals. Is it just me, or is this totally dejected? You can tell some rich guy who has no intention of ever driving an e-bike is making up these laws. The law is DESIGNED to **** YOU over and keep you down.

  • Exactly, big oil companies will continue to legislate against any threat to their ogopoly over consumers. Hybrid cars are just electric cars that burn gas. Any electic car that can be sold to the average consumer will be targeted and legisated into extinction. In Ontario it will be illegal to smoke with children onboard cause there's a risk they might develope cancer when there 50 yrs old.

But does the goverment care that the exhaust from you car could kill them in 2 minutes????

  • I do believe it is a conspiracy of some sort. The fact that the government doesn't give that a priority leads me to believe this is so. Also, a huge reason is the insurance companies. How are they gonna nail you for $1800 a year when you're driving this? The LINC (completed Hamilton 07) is designed for large cars, with no room for practical vehicles. None of this happens by accident. The idea that the general public is not ready for this is absolutely ridiculous and absurd.

  • I like the minimalistic approach. For commuting, you often really don't need much more. Such a light vehicle, that's going to be very economic. And if you're allowed to use bicycle lanes there's not so much of a security issue either.

In the other video about this vehicle, I saw that the vehicle can be folded and put in the luggage compartment of a bus. That's a nice idea, a great combination.

A windshield would be necessary on rainy and windy days though (at least here in the Netherlands).

  • hahahahahaha thats sooooo cool

  • Whats the cost with everything? No pedal power also??? why not?

  • COOL! It reminds me of the 1903 Oldsmobile. Maybe history really does repeat itself.

  • Come away with me, Lucille

    In my merry Oldsmobile...

Down the road of life we'll fly,

    auto-mo-bubbling, you and I

  • Like it

  • hahhaha! Excellent! May I buy one? It looks like a babywagon for adults

  • it even has the push bar in the back

  • Are those hub motors? If so, what kind are they?

  • Love that electric whine, natty little buggy tho :)
