  • boy your mum probably drives a charade. i'm simply stating a point. like i said if you wanna talk up your FPV like jesus built it, then this is the type of comments you receive. bro evos over here a putting out of 300 - 500kw street driven. weather or not your FPV is putting 10million Nm of torque. a lot of it is, power to weight ratio. that is what will put your falcon to the KNIFE BOY.

And while ur homo evo's are putting out 140-500kw our xr6turbo's are putting out 200-1200kw.. just leave it mate. Obviously there are faster cars around then mine. and well whether u like it or not.. the xr6t is always going to be able to put out more power than the evo because of its displacement. and also we dont have lag likethe evo's milk bottle motor

  • Only 320 rwkw's from a 285 engine after spending 13 grand. 1 of 2 things happened. Either the Clubby is just a lemon, or the shop that did the work ripped him off.

    I doubt either cars will crack 11's in full street trim with only 320 rwkw's. A mate of mine has 350 kw's @ the wheels in a lighter R32 4-door & is only cracking flat 12's (although traction is a bitch), but still, 11 second passes out of 320 rwkw cars that are both close to 1800 kilos is a stretch.

  • @hsvsv8 both cars are under 1700kg. also my 320rwkw is a very low dyno figure, however is makes 1046nm (dyno figures are bullshit) and yes my car will do easy 11's on street tyres. Ill post vids next time I go out. Iv also been told it feels faster then a mates 370awkw 34gtr. xr6t's have done 11's with full weight with under 300rwkw.

    As for XR6 Turbo's cutting 11's with less than 300 kw's @ the wheels. Not to say I don't believe you, but I do struggle to believe it. 1046 Nm on street tyres & 11 second passes. They must be incredible street tryes to not lose traction whilst trying to put all that torque down.

    A mate of mine has an NA Series 2 VT GTS with over 900 Nm & it rips the tyres off all the way through 3rd.

  • @hsvsv8 Take it for what it is but the first street xr6t to run 10's had a little under 370rwkw. Because of the weight and soft springs the tyres manage to grip like crazy.they are only 225/45/17's :) Ill post a vid of me hitting 100kph in under 4seconds on the street when I get a chance. so subscribe :) and well the clubby in this vid has more or less a race motor with monstrous cam (valve reliefs cut in pistons to stop them kissing) and it has around 800nm so ur mates vt had high dyno

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 Can't remember if it was high dyno or not, but the engine was rebuilt (standard stroke), raised compression & a Harrop 8 trumpet carbon fibre manifold. Basically everything bar stroking & force feeding was done to it. The power was about 550-600 brake horsepower, but the torque was just monstrous.

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 Pretty sure there are more powerful standard stroke LS1's than that in the world. I'll get clarification on the power figures though. I could be wrong on it.

Your about the first HSV owner not to go on like a cockbag and slag on my car haha kudos to you mate :) I read a few months back that the most powerful stock stroke n/a LS1 was around 600rwhp running methanol I believe runs low 10's in a full weight camaro in the states :)

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 I'm a dyed in the wool Holden fan, but I appreciate & respect tough cars. I love the look of the Falcons, although the FG has made the BA/BF look a bit outdated. But then again the series 2 VE's make the series 1 look blunt & old. Majority of people that slag off a tough Falcon or Commodore are more than likely driving shitbox EA's or VN's. Jealousy is a curse.

    I checked with my mate the power his GTS was making & it was 350 kw's @ the wheels & 870 Nm.

I drive a Ls1 drifcar that pulls 346rwkw and it revs like all fuck. still my mates clubby feels nearly as quick.. and yeah the new Boss coyote's are to die for.. shame they are no faster than a stock fg f6 :/ which are fucking bullshit fast for a stocker.

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 Yeah I've been annihilated by an FG F6. Gave him the thumbs up when I got the chance. Which surprised him as I think he was expecting me to flip him off.

    I redeemed myself later though when I beat an FG XR6 Turbo ute. Power is the same & torque is only 16 Nm in favour of the Ford, so in that case it came down to who was the better driver.

  • @hsvsv8 im assuming thats in the sv8? thats a decent effort. when my bfII xr6t was stock it would beat my mates tuned clubby just he had 215rwkw and i had 200rwkw but mine is auto and thats all that was keeping me ahead. the manual xr6t's struggle lol

    The Turbo ute was a 6 speed manual, same as my Series 2 VE SS ute (profile picture). Both stock. The new SS is quicker than people think. They really open up after about 20,000 clicks are on board. I'll admit we looked like a pair of skittles racing. Bright yellow SS vs bright orange XR6 Turbo. haha

My cousin (who owns a BF F6 Mk II), with a flash tune, exhaust (cuts a 12.7), came round with his wife & I had a drive of her new toy. Brand spankers FG GS 315 (the supercharged 5.0-litre ute). The whine of the supercharger is what dreams are made of. Great ;looking ute, but like mine it's stock & needs a few things to get it breathing fire. Namely an exhaust, CAI, cam & tune :)

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 One of my personal favourites aswell. Build number 1535. I was the 2nd owner & it still had the original velour Owners Compendium. She spun 154 kw's @ the wheels after a cat back & CAI. I sold it to my mate for 3 grand & he has since rebuilt the engine, bigger cam, injectors & ECU & raised the compression & she sounds tough & angry. Still in mint condition too.

  • @hsvsv8 had a run from the lights against my mates 300awkw 34GTR he launched at 4k and I stalled up to 2k(got a pretty intense launch) By 3rd gear I was 3carlenghts ahead and pulling away fast. I was only running 13psi instead of my usual 17(which tapers back to 15 at peak power) so that goes to show that dyno figures mean nothing :) He said It was like my car just had 1 gear haha kept pulling. made me laugh :) He got a video of our 3rd gear roll on aswell

    Plus I prefer Holden/HSV, but their sixes are gutless. Good power (210 kw), but no torque (343 Nm), that's 57 Nm shy of an 18 year old 5.0-litre Clubby. Pathetic really.

    Ford own the 6 cylinder performance market (large cars atleast), Holden dominate the V8 market.

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 True , the torque is where u win a drag race. My old car was a stock 297Kw Z Series Clubby , best time was 14.1 , Now with a stock 270 Kw BF F6 , 13.3 . The F6 has less Kw but more Torque thru more of the rev range. Max Kw is at the high end rev range only. Torque is pulling power before max revs. Ur right, Could have same Kw , but the more torque is the winner.

  • @billybodybuilder Yeah I really is a great motor to couple with a turbo. Its long stroke is great for the massive midrange power/torque output. When u compare these 2 cars dynos. at say 3k even the difference in rwkw is amazing. When this car stock against him when his was tuned to 220rwkw vs my (200rwkw) I would still win every time

  • @billybodybuilder 14.1 from a 297 VZ? Bugger. I ran a worst of 14 flat (best of 13.6) in my stock 270 kw Series 2 VE SS ute.

    My cousin had the VX Clubby with exhaust & CAI, yet only managed a 14.4. He has since traded for a Mk 2 BF F6 & stock it pulled 13.5 standard. After an exhaust & Flash tune it pulls a 12.7. Nearly a second from a tune & cat back system is outstanding & the torque delivery is what dreams are made of.

  • @hsvsv8 WOW mate, a 13.6 from ur stock V8 Ute is awesome (is it mabe coz it's lighter than a sedan ? lol) keep in mind, here in Tassie our track is shit ! I haven't raced her since the Flashtune. Although the car only has 281 rwkw , my torque figure is at 745Nm ! ONLY A TUNE >LOL .. Hopefully jump in the 12's next meeting , will post vids too. Still miss me V8's tho , but i feel i have got bigger gains with less $ in the F6 .

  • @300holden Heres the problem here if we are going to go N/A then the cars have to be in the same cylinder category, Higgins V8 6.0L is not the same as the 6 N/A, this video features a 6 turbo'd, therefore to use the N/A as a bragging right you need a 6 cylinder.

    Ford Engines are often pulled from America, not always, which makes your "Aussie Built Motors Are Shit" incorrect, also that car is heavily modified, and heavily weight reduced, Higgins still isn't a 9 second car, Ford is.

  • @300holden You're trying to use N/A as a reason as to why Holden is better, the problem is the Holden that you're using is V8, therefore there's no fucking point in using N/A as a bragging right, can't you read or something 0.o

    If you want to use N/A as a bragging right, find a N/A I6 or V6 that's faster then the turbo.

    The V8 still isn't as heavy as you claimed it to be, and Ford has run 9's before.

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 Ls1's are a great engine. i like the fact that there pushrod makes a old school rumble but revs like a jap motor. i guess each to there own i know what id rather even tho its easier to get more power out of a barra for less id still have the Ls1 just that noise does it for me lol

  • @300holden They are by no means a Great engine mate. They are a large v8. the pushrod type setup means it cant rev high like a jap motor. The sound is a fair call, they do sound great. Also that EA falcon had a DE-STROKED 429 in it. back to around 320ci.

Ls1's are by all means a great motor... how is reving too 8000rpm not reving hard for a pushrod V8? you can pick up a Ls1 on ebay for $1500 and get well over 700hp for as little as 7-8k?? put that engine in something light like a VL and you'll run 8's all day every day. i'd take a 2jz anyday before a barra 6 thats a real inline 6 champ 10,000rpm and beyond

  • @300holden its all over youtube. many many video's of it and if u can make 700hp for 8k on an LS1 good work!. 8000rpm? are you sure? rod bolts snap and pistons shoot through blocks over a sustained 7k. Trust me I drift in a 600hp LS1 and have thrown a rod. 8 k lol maybe with spool rods and race pistons/rockers. and thats great ur 2jz would get spanked. we already have 1500hp+ street xr6t/f6's getting around. wont be long before they start to creep higher and higher

  • @300holden Again you know absolutely nothing about how a motor works.. I infact build one just last week.  Dohc= less reciprocating weight=less inertia= more revs= more revs = more airflow = more power. VCT= more lift and duration across whole rev range not just top of rpm band. The 2jz and LS1 have been arounds for so many years now they have so many aftermarket parts. Japan hasnt even got a hold on the barra turbo yet. When they do expect big big numbers.

LS motors simple as can be, cam out cam in plenty of grunt and noise to back it up and times to prove it. when a barra gets in the 6's ill be quiet till then im afraid the Lsx V8's own any Aussie falcon. enuff said.

  • @300holden also lol the 5.4 runs the lowest compression ratio in the heavy xr8. put the motors on a dyno and watch the ls1 fail. See a maxed out LS1 will do just over 300rwkw n/a with a monstrous cam. the smaller 5.4 with its dohc and vct+superior rod ratios has made more than that with the stock cams.. Also a barra makes more torque for the same power at the LS1 due to its long stroke and under the graph area powerband. Ie my near stock xr making 1046nm and 2 vy LS1's i drive making 800odd

  • @heeeeeeeyyyyyyyyy yeah if its manual you definitely have a tune atleast. just got , dump pipe/high flow cat/ 60lb injectors/ stock typhoon airbox/ k&n panel filter/ intercooler+ custom tune. 320rear wheel kw up from 200rwkw stock. will do 11secs and well worth it. I had a girl who said..''i just dont understand how a car can pull that kinda g force accelerating'' lol

  • @FormulaVeeRacer1200 well finally been able to have some spare time and got it on one of my mates workshops and its pullin round the 215rwkw mark , so dunno if thats normal stock but from the looks of the engine bay inside/out and everything else it is completly stock , until I put in a 2.5 inch catback nxt week (herrod) cant wait ;-)

  • @heeeeeeeyyyyyyyyy well it must have something because they dont quite make 215rwkw stock. take my advice mate and dont bother with the exhaust untill ur going for over 450rwkw. just get a 3.5/4inch dump pipe and high flow cat. cost u about 600 for the 2. and the standard exhaust is twin 2.5inch anyway so i dont know why herrod sell a single 2.5

  • @03monaro actually the ford barra would surpass an 8 with proper mods. Throw a single billet gtk on there with a cobra manifold, upgrade the rods, pistons, crank and injectors, toss on a water to air intercooler just for kicks and toss it in a car thats actually not a brick and it will surpass any 8 as long as you tune it right and utilize the vct thats on there.

  • @worx110 its around 300-325rwkw depending on dyno. ur vx ss will run high 12's wheras this clubby runs easy 11's. i have a stock exhaust. and also. He has flycut pistons because the lift on his cam is too large and valve would hit pistons. so dont tell me ur vx ss is faster. it may sound better but i wouldnt hear you from infront lol
