We just saw the Mariner at Palermo, Italy, it was amazing!! Looking for some more information regarding this machine I found your video, watched three parts :) nice story. I imagine you've enjoyed the cruise. My girlfriend says, while we were next to this ship, the next trip we will do will have to be a cruise on something like that - it was a kind of our promiss, maybe someday this dream comes true, who knows. Thank you so much for the informative information. We are headed on the ship Dec. 26-Jan. 2, this will be my first cruise and my mother n laws 3rd. Recently my husband had passed away so I planned this cruise for her & I too just get away and relax but after watching these vidoes, Im not sure I will be able to do that. Looking forward to seeing many more videos of your cruises.

What do you mean new home? Are they going to get rid of Mexican Rivera? Thanks for the tip about the distance from the ship to the old town Matzatlan (1 mile). I think, we're going to take a walk to the oldtown and shop/eat-out. Is the ship's time and local time the same or are they different?

@KayakMarine Yes, Mariner will be be moving starting in January, 2011. Eventually, after about three months in South America, she will end up in Europe.

you guys must have dropped a bundle on the specialty restaurants..thats true dining for sure..puts the main dining room to shame..

@bodleladle True, it does cost $50.00 a day more, but in my opinion, it is worth it!

great set of videos Bill, glad to see the weather was nice, my fiancee and i will be spending our honeymoon on this trip from dec 20th onwards, we are a little worried that it'll be too cold to snorkle?

@twometresplus It could be cool as you leave San Diego, but by the time you get to Cabo it will be HOT! Have a great trip!

You did such a good job on this video.... I was on the Mariner of the Seas back in June of this year we did the pacific northwest... I will be back on the Mariner Jan 10th going to Mexico... We are diamond members and only have one cruise left for diamond plus.. In the dragons lair is it open bar or just free beer and wine? Thank you ...

It is free wine, beer, and they have added soda. We are cruising again on Janauary 9, 2010 and after that cruise will be D+...it will be nice to use the CL again!

Great video Bill!!! My wife and I are going in May of 2010 as well. We have sailed with Royal Caribbean before, and they know how to take care of you thats for sure. We have not sailed on Mariner before, our last ship was Liberty of the seas and we plan on booking Oasis of the seas while onboard Mariner. Thanks for taking time to provide us with such a great insight into Mariner.
