And he is prophesized throughout the Bible, take Deuteronomy 18:18 for example. If you think it speaks of Jesus peace be upon him I can easily rebuke it. Also John 14:16-26 and remember that the phrase "Holy Spirit" was inserted into the text according to christian bibliologists.

"If the Quran were true, would not Allah have preserved a gospel {Injeel} of Jesus that agrees with the Quranic gospels?" Islam cannot produce the Injeel; so, Muhammad is a tangling prophet with no confirmation. Why should we Christians come to Islam when the Bible records through eye witnesses closer to the time of Jesus' life some 60 -100 years after His ascent. The Quran is 600 years after.

Qur´an itself is confirmation of that which was sent before (Torah and Gospel), the true and unadulterated Scriptures which still exist, just being removed from us. The shariah (God´s law) was as well updated since the time of Moses, peace be upon him and thus the former books were rendered obsolete. Jesus, peace be upon him, wasn´t sent with any new law and your claim that the 4 "gospels" were written by eye-witnesses is simply untrue.

"Enjoining right and forbidding wrong" is not done by AKs and RPGs. They are the major cause of normal Afghans seeing Islam as terror or 'Mullah'. Most of Afghans are turning "secular and liberal" because of their ignorant ways of enforcing Islam upon people. Islam is a lot more than what Taliban have ever known of it.

i dont agree with Khalid Yasin on describing how Taliban came about, he studys alot about islamic religion but not enough about politics and history. im an Afghan and i know enough about my countrys history. Afghanistan was always strong in their religion and the civil war started after the Russian because basically there was about four to five groups that wanted power, some of those groups were getting funds from Pakistan, Iran,Russia and of coarse America so they all distroyed each other.
The story of the emergence of the Taliban related by Khalid Yasin is slightly different from the narration by the mujahideen. Considering he wasn't there, I'd say he is wrong and mujahideen are right. It wasn't a mass rape of women, but kidnapping of 2 teenage girls in Singesar from the side of the local governor. And btw, Singesar is the birthplace of Mulla Mohammad Omar. Khalid Yasin should verify his facts before he speaks.

I wasn´t in Afghanistan then so I can´t comment further. But I imagine the state of the country was terrible after 15 years of occupation and civil war - all these measures may have well been intended as temporary.

The organized group Taliban was formed in 1994 not by ISI but by genuine students and shaykhs from Kandahar area who were simply fed up with the former "mujahideen", who controlled and tyrannized the whole of Afghanistan.

Only then eyewitnesses´ accounts because these can be and mostly are too subjective. And you should first know something about the witness to take his/her word seriously.

the taliban never introduced the islamic shariah! they made their own rules, based on their own knowledge. if you have just prayed, and some talib crosses your path, he'll ask you if you have performed the prayer. if you say yes, he commands you to pray again. no matter what you say.
there were no islamic courts, they judged after a suspicion by their own.
there was found fake us dollars with them. all of them are just puppets of pakistan... just a few percents might be real muslims...

There was a report even met with the Taliban unarmed to negotiate peace. He made prayers regularly and appeared a devout Muslim. He seemed to advocate peace and premote multicultural harmony. I'd like to understand your point of view here. Was he at fault in any way?

If it is corrupted, how do we know that the Quran is true or that Muhammad is a true prophet? And he is prophesized throughout the Bible, take Deuteronomy 18:18 for example. If you think it speaks of Jesus peace be upon him I can easily rebuke it. Also John 14:16-26 and remember that the phrase "Holy Spirit" was inserted into the text according to christian bibliologists.

Why should we Christians come to Islam when the Bible records through eye witnesses closer to the time of Jesus' life some 60 -100 years after His ascent. The Quran is 600 years after.

Qur´an itself is confirmation of that which was sent before (Torah and Gospel), the true and unadulterated Scriptures which still exist, just being removed from us. The shariah (God´s law) was as well updated since the time of Moses, peace be upon him and thus the former books were rendered obsolete. Jesus, peace be upon him, wasn´t sent with any new law and your claim that the 4 "gospels" were written by eye-witnesses is simply untrue.

@LimuZozo According to some opinions of fiqh, niqab is fard. Allah knows best of course. And with education, of course women have rights to it. But whether it should be the same as for men is another question - men and women are equal in sight of Allah yet definitely different!
I wasn´t in Afghanistan then so I can´t comment further. But I imagine the state of the country was terrible after 15 years of occupation and civil war - all these measures may have well been intended as temporary.

@LimuZozo In an Islamic state, all believing women must wear hijab and the ruler is allowed to compel them to do so if they refuse and flog them. Taliban considered burqa to be wajib and they enforced it.

The organized group Taliban was formed in 1994 not by ISI but by genuine students and shaykhs from Kandahar area who were simply fed up with the former "mujahideen", who controlled and tyrannized the whole of Afghanistan.
The people you mentioned fought the Soviets, I´m not saying they didn´t. But so did Mullah Muhammad Omar and many other Talibs!

Is1994 the year when the Soviets left Afghanistan?? Did the Northern alliance existed back then?? He called a group of atheist a group of socialist and a group of communist?? which are these among the Mujahids or Afghanis?? He said these groups fought against the muslims in civil war!! Which groups are these??
How could Taliban possibly become so strong without foreign military and finance help?? Where came the huge money which they bribed the local commanders across the Afghanist

The groups our brothers fought were exactly the same groups you point out and even much more: socialists, communists, atheists, fasiqeen, munafiqeen, tawagheet, drug barons, shi´a, thieves, rapists, murderers, spies, double-faced muslims like Massoud, and the so called Norhern Alliance formed out of these elements!

So the Mujahedin were bunch of rapists, atheists, thieves etc.. So you guys don't tell the world that your holy Mujahedin the "great muslims" had defeated the Soviets!! Because those same groups were the main Mujahedin factions which actually broke the Soviets and don't tell fancy tales about a group of Taliban etc.. simply because it didn't existed in Soviet/Afghan war!!
When someone tries to tell the truth you guys get mixed up and and deny your own previous statements!!

@AchtungDutch88mm At the time of Soviet occupation, almost the entire population of Afghanistan united to fight the invaders - religious people, secular people, even the criminals. Even those who didn´t pray or fast, i.e. practice Islam, would call themselves "mujahideen". After the Soviets left, however, the different groups showed their true colours and their real motives became obvious. Who fought for Allah, has his reward with Him. Others fought just to repel the enemy and after sought power

If you think that Taliban was a pure, divine, jihadist, Islamic group then you are totally wrong in your thoughts!!
Taliban was an extreme radical Khilji Pashtuns, they didn't tolerated other ethnic groups in Afghanistan even their own Pashtuns the Durranis!! Despite the fact that Taliban was originally followed the school of Hanafism they misbehaved the Tajik/Uzbek Hanafist because of their ethnic!! Taliban was more or less a failed tribal party!!

@AchtungDutch88mm You generalize again. I have no doubts there were some talibs who behaved as you said. Same as there were other who completely overstepped the limits set by shari´ah in their punishment and control of people. But neither of that can characterize the movement as a whole! On top of that, from what environment did the Taliban emerge? Wasn´t it the one of nation ravaged by communist invasion, civil war, extreme poverty, famine and widespread illiteracy? Would you expect angels?

I made my points clear!! The one who sees it through is already does!! The case of Taliban is very clear!!
But about Khalid Yasin!! He made a lot of errors on the time-lines in the case of Mujahedin, Taliban, Northern alliance etc.. and added his own ideas to it!! That is not the first time he make error on timelines!! In other lecture of him, he told audience that Khalid ibn Waleed asked 500 soldiers to invade Roman Empire!? Both the time-line and story is myth and error!!

@AchtungDutch88mm What does all this have to do with Taliban´s eradication of poppy in Afghanistan that this video is about? I don´t have the sources here but something like that definitely happened, as far vas we know (and Allah knows best). To the horror of some muslim soldiers to whom Khalid ibn Waleed (rAa) replied that it´s not the numbers that count in this struggle. It´s the quality of faith of his men. Khalid did many other extraordinary feats, may Allah be pleased with him.

Why you don´t understand?? Khalid ibn Waleed already invaded Persian/Roman empires, when Omar ibn Khattab became Khalifa!! And you talk about faith, horror etc...

@AchtungDutch88mm Yes, Khalid ibn Waleed (rAa) was appointed by Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (rAa) first to lead a number of campaigns in Arabia, including a major one against Musailimah the Liar, and later was sent to fight the Persians in Iraq. In paralel, Abu Bakr sent Abu Ubaida Amr ibn Jarrah (rAa), Amr ibn al-As (rAa) and Sharhabeel ibn Hasana (rAa) to open a new front against the Romans. These were however much better prepared for the fight than the Persians and conutered with stiff resistance,

@AchtungDutch88mm ...to which the only solution was to recall Khalid from Iraq and let him come to the aid of the other commanders. The result of this was the famous battle of Yarmuk in which Khalid utterly crushed the Romans, although the high command was already shifted from him by Omar (rAa) to Abu Ubaida (rAa). There was however an incident of the type you talked about and let me correct my previous statement, claiming it was Khalid telling the soldiers - it was Omar telling Khalid!
