She and her boyfriend were on their way to take Chloe to work when the car fishtailed and went sideways in the highway - they were broadsided on Chloe's side by an oncoming vehicle. No one else was injured in the accident - and Chloe didn't have a scratch or bruise on her other than a fractured skull and a the injury to her brainstem.
I'm glad your friend is progressing. My friend was in a horrible car accident on July 30,2010 and they weren't sure how she was gonna do either and she is now at home, talking, eating and almost walking. DON'T GIVE UP HOPE. I wish her the best of luck. Was she hit by a drunk driver? My friend was also at RIC. Definitely keep everyone updated on her progress.
