what you need to do is take each brand with the same rms ratings.. then test them with your amplifier and see which 1 last the longest.. the one that last longer is the better brand. the only way you can really find out.... and every year it changes.. I'm going with polk audio this year for mid power subwoofer they did better than kicker this year. but next year it can change to a whole nother brand.

they have a video on youtube showing all the speakers been blown with 4000 watts rms.. crown amplifiers. solo x and orion are the only ones that hung in there. all the other subwoofers blew up with in a second...or so.. so kicker a crappy brand I don't think so. there are one of the leading companies in car audio. I have 11 years of experience of installations. and fabrication. and just messing around with different brands of speakers. I know what im talking about because I've experienced it.

all those subs are rated differently. thats kickers mid power subwoofer.. the pioneers that he used is there top of the line sub .and I'm pretty sure the other 1 was a hx punch rockford fosgate. if I bought a solo x 18 and put it up against. pioneer the kicker would devastate the pioneer. all companies make a low end ..mid power andhi power subs. just some companies do high power subs a lot better than others. kicker definitely does a way better hi power subwoofer.
