@LOUD7 I disagree, the drummer is complementing and intensifying his solo. Its very common in jazz and other types of music with a lot of solos and simply makes it more dynamic in the end. Just my opinion! Kudos to the musicians in the video, amazing

@Mowac Well, a lot of it has to do with the EQ, which is really up to the preference of the player as you probably know. You just have to fiddle with the EQ a bit until you find what you want. As a collective, I can say a lot of gospel players are fans of cutting the treble most of the way for fingerstyle passages, sometimes a little bit of mid cut as well. Bass is usually flat or boosted.

yo! cuz learn your major and minor scales plus pentatonics but to get what he's doing pause the video write down the notes to the first 2 to 4 bars and so on til you trancribe the solo then practice then hit me up let me know how it turned out for you nfunk.
