It sounds like she can't hear herself. Which is bad. VERY BAD. See episode 3 of Making the Band 4 to see what happens when you can't hear yourself. That's pretty much the same effect, and experience really plays a key factor. Aya-chan doesn't have much concert experience so you hear her get off track with the rest of the band, because simply you can't time your voice to the music. I wasn't there though, so I don't know if she is wearing a ear-piece or what, or if she even got a sound check.

AX management messed up big time on this concert. I was there, and lets not even talk about the ridiculous wait that everyone has been discussing.

I feel so sorry for the three since afaik this is their first "concert" (or appearance) in the US and it was far from perfect. With that said, im still going to this year's AX and hopefully the group comes back in the future (im sure theyre aware they have alot of fans here in US!!!)

the only reason aya sounds crapy is because she was doing alot of concerts,and probably didn't have much time to...rest her voice or something.On top of that she was dancing to some of the songs she sang!Of course she'll sound crapy!

Is she singing to the echo of the music? If anything, it sounds like she is rushing. If the techno music she is singing to is prerecorded then she had no chance.

The SOS Brigade is from the anime 'Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu' or 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya'. Hirano Aya does the voice for the lead character, so go figure for usage of the terminology.

Carterscu...there is no Anime Expo in Baltimore...you're thinking of Otakon.Also, I have to comment on this snippet. First off, Aya is incredible to have so much success...also, she doesn't have much concert experience, so her voice vibrato is excusable...I'm also reading a lot about the bad management that AX had for this...I'm pretty sure that Otakon's management would not screw something like this up...hopefully they'll host either TMoHS or L*S cast there in the near future.

I thought her singing was pretty bad until Lost My Music. I heard that this was due to technical difficulties where she couldn't hear her own voice fed back thru the headset or something.

I was recording parts of the concert also. I was going to post them, but this is way better quality. I loved Chihara Minori's singing (absolutely perfect) and she learned a new word (watermelon) rofl.

You got the Devil's Luck, the AX Staff return me back becausa y have my camera, and after leave this in the Hotel the guy who promise help me enter quickly didn't recongnize me xDUUUU, so I must stand at the end of the line again XP, i'll wait twice to enter the concert, on the other part, Aya hirano was an awesome performance xDDD, besides the several errors ocurred form the AX staff the tree Seiyuus make a incredible performance on the Scenary xDDD!!!

Lucky bastard...I didn't want to lose my seat in the stands because I had my camera. All in all...The concert was awesome, but if the people at AX weren't retarded, it would have been a lot smoother. Freaking 1 hour, and 30 minutes later just to get a seat! WTF?! WAS THAT?! Not to mention the canceling of the autograph session on that same day, and waiting two hours to finally be told I wasn't going to get an autograph on Sunday...
