Since everyone is on the console war, I'll join:

Advantages

PS3: It has BluRay, free online, Sixaxis controllers, web browser

Xbox: Better controllers, good quality online, memory sticks as hard drive, so its really easy to mod games, downloadable content comes earlier and a little cheaper, XboxLive Party

Disadvantages:

PS3: Bad online (people managed to hack it, and it has been down forevah) Bad controllers, you have to install games

Xbox: Live costs money, extras cost a lot (hard drives etc)

@TheCheezyGuy when did xbl get hacked for as long as the PS3 has? I've played xbl for 5 years and i can't remember it being down for more than a week... So? And, although it may be as unsecure as PS3 online, it hasn't been that beaten down, or i'd probably remember. Xbl get's hacked in different ways, not ways where people get their damn info stolen, and it they have, then i don't remember that either.
