@MarjCobero When windows 95 and 98 were new on the market, Maxis and Electronic Arts came up with a great idea; a life simulator! The idea took off successfully upon release of The Sims (Trademark)(PC). Of course, they couldn't put every possible sentence in a game-- So was invented 'Simlish,' a charming gibberish language that stood in for everyday conversation among sims. The language stuck! If we had had technology from the year 3000 back then I'm sure the games would be in perfect English.

@JamesBoston73 It wouldn't be as fun if it were in perfect english. Simlish has become a signifigant part of gameplay for some simmers. If we play often enough, we kinda learn the language, it makes the game more fun. :)
