Obama said that he couldn't defend 1 article of doma, because it was inherently unconstitutional. that article stated that individual states did not have to recognize gay marriages performed by other states. the constitution says very clearly every state must recognize ALL marriages performed by any other state. I believe that people are NOT born gay. It is based on influences on them in their childhood. For ex. if a mother puts her son into a beauty pageant when they are young, are they more likely to be gay in the future? Yes.
