The Perm 132 motor, although not a bad motor is not a good choice for a go-kart set up. If you want to feel real power than you need to upgrade to a series-wound DC motor such as a D&D ES-33 or A00-4009 motor. Trust me on this one. My kart is at 72 volts now using an A00-4009 motor and goes 50+ MPH, climbs hills, does burn outs all while weighing in at 450 LBS!! There is also another user called Wires99 on youtube and he uses a D&D ES-33 motor on his "neurotikart II".
