Hi Dan, i understand this video was posted rather a long time ago now, but i was wondering if there is any way you could post a video on the strumming/plucking pattern that you use when playing this song. This is my favourite guitar cover of this amazing song on youtube and would love to be able to play it as you do.. peace.

@sjjw1991 I could post a video, but the simple explanation is that I'm playing the bassline with my thumb and the higher chord notes with my fingers. I hammer-on the bass from open to the barre chord bass note, then hit the higher strings -- try it once. It's not terribly difficult once you get the pattern down.

I personally don't believe the official version of the pentagon reports on what happened on that day of 11/9/2001 . Not that there weren't any planes crashing into the buildings (its just too obvious to be denied), just that there was some external help to achieve the entire event.

What I was looking to do here was more of a proof of concept that what I was playing was actually the "radio correct" version. I found bits and pieces of tab out there but not the whole thing in one place; after I "got" it, I practiced it until I could play it full speed and recorded the video to show it was correct -- I knew I wasn't the only person who wanted to know how to play it.

That all having been said, I offer a full refund if you aren't satisfied. ;-)

@CrasyLittleMusic "Amazing" is a bit much, and my basslines are only the easy ones. Check out my high school friend Adam Rafferty -- he does some ridiculous basslines while playing both the chords and the vocal parts (on guitar) at the same time.
