From what I heard Matt is a good actor. He can change on a dime when he needs to. I think we're in for a treat. I was slightly apprehensive about Tennant but look how he turned out!
Give the guy a chance! I personally have doubts but I had them with David also - and he did a great job! He may be young but hold judgements until we see him perform.
The thing I'm happy about is Stephen Moffat taking over writing. It's recently become rubbish but he wrote all the amazing episodes that I loved. He will make a great writer and turn Doctor Who back to the awesome episodes - like this one per say.
