Wtf is Deathcore? Don't get me wrong, I love heavy metal, I just don't understand why there are sub-genres. Isn't it all heavy metal?

There are sub-genres because people give a shit about music enough to categorize these things..

For example Cannibal Corpse, Black Sabbath and Limp Bizkit would all be classed as heavy metal, but they sound nothing like each other beyond having distorted guitars in their music. It would be like trying to insist that a Dog, a Wolf and a Fox are all the same animal.

Deathcore = Death Metal mixed with Hardcore....simple really.
