1. Why didn't he switch with Frieza? Because he was so loyal to him, did you see how he willingly delivered the dragonballs to Frieza when he didn't even know that a password was needed, he could have wished for immortality, but he gave them to Frieza instead.

2. Is the purple body Ginyu's original body? Yes it is, because when he swaps with Goku, you can see that his soul looks identical to the purple body he was in.

2. No. You're wrong. His "soul" have clothes on it. It means it get used to the shape of the body. It's actually just a representation for us viewer, wich is why it wasnt in the original manga.

@Thisisforvortex You have a point, but his soul was exactly the same when he switched back to his original body, the anime just confuses people like that. I can't see how a soul changes shape though since its something that tends to stay the same

@Cena60793 It get used over time. Also souls dont have a visual shape,its ust for our viewer convenience, nothing to indicate ginyu being in his former body wich would not make much sense.

@Cena60793 Kaioken is a power-up. He have the power of Goku, just not his attacks and kaioken is one of them. He gain the power of the body he takes, not the mind. Had he not damaged himself first, Goku would have OVERKILLED freeza with kaioken times 10. (over a million is a translation error of freeza's power, it was 100 000 in second form.)

@Cena60793 I'm explaining he control the power level of the body. just not the kaio ken. It means his failure with goku is not indicating he never used it before.

So it shows that his lack of experience in dealing with a new body shows it was most likely his first time

And the switching technique is probably designed so that ginyu only has it so that the victim can't switch back
