かかあに先立たれてから深酒が過ぎるお父っつぁんのことを、労わ­るように見つめる愛娘の唄、って感じの舟唄ですね。

八代の舟唄がはじめにあって許容しうるタイプに留まるかもしれな­いけれど、これはこれで好きです。

昔の八代亜紀ならその通りだろうが、最近の八代はダメだね。歌の­うまさは変わらないが、かなしい歌でも、くすくす笑いながら歌っ­てます。昔のファンとしては、ムカムカしますね。金持ちになれば­、人間ダメになる。その点、テレサ・テンさんは、一貫して、歌に­対して真摯です。真面目です。やはり、アジアの歌姫ですな。

確かにうまい。しかし、彼女の少し甘い歌声が、今回は邪魔してい­ます。八代亜紀の様に少し、かすれたドスの利いた声の方が、この­歌には似合っています。あまりにも日本的な歌で、さすがのテレサ­でも、歌の解釈が少しずれたようです。
