  • Two greats united!

  • god bless lightning seeds and terry hall..you are genial...!!! a god.

  • This is the music from the bmw ad

  • Geoff - just FYI - his own band were mostly the Lightning Seeds lol

  • are tez and the Ls still playin let me know please

  • bring back TFI.. it was ace! this me feel 24 again

  • This is from radio 99 and Nirvana RIP

  • Stop being so negative, why do you live such shallow lives? Terry & Friends are trying to uplift you cold lonley lost soles, so grow up & find your soles before your to old and they find you!

  • Fucking quality......nuff said

  • long live terry hall.......pure genius

  • hermosa cancion

    hermoso TERRY!!

  • i had no idea terry hall helped write this! oh my!!!

  • I heart this song.

  • First time I ever saw this. All I can say is "WOW."

  • I wish somebody had kicked broudies head in before his single career.

  • Have you herd Owl City? Adam Young from USA if you love lightenseeds you will love Owl City must hear.

  • Terry Hall was from The Specials, Fun Boy Three, The Colourfield and later on Vegas with Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics.

  • @sharnthenarn1 and not forgetting The Coventry Atomatics ;)

  • Awesome!!!!

  • terry hall from colorfield kiddo.. timeless i love 80´s best part of being me. now..

now ehat is here to offer but buzz and whoosss music..

  • Was Terry Hall always in the Lightning Seeds?

  • No, he co-wrote with Ian Broudie and did backing vocals on the albums. He wasn't in the band when this was done, just making a guest appearance.

  • O right, thanks.

  • A version of Sense also appears on one of Hall's solo albums.

  • He was in the "Specials" too, way before this, and then he was in "The Fun Boy Three".

Then, I think he was in the "Colon Climbers".

Just kidding about the last one.

  • Personaaly my favourite song by LS. I have always found them to be a bit boring and main stream. A poor mans Echo & the Bunnymen indeed. Ideally suited for middle-aged women while they drive at the correct speed limit.

  • theyre nowt like echo and the bunnymen you prick, theyre about 100 times better.

  • Haha, you thick shallow twat... Are you being deliberately obtuse?

  • yes

  • this is one of most stupid things I've ever heard. Ian Brody and Lighting seeds are great. Brody has a long carrier as a cult producent and artist (CARE, Big in japan, original mirrosr etc.) ....and Echo & the bunnymen are great....both are from liverpool and have worked with each other I belive.

  • Reading a few comments before the song started I thought this was going to be shit.

They done a good live job so piss off all you dicks who do not understand live music.

  • fantastic!

  • Robsonrobstar.......... my last word on this, and I decided not to reply via your post, that way I won't receive one of those youtube alerts. "some sad fuck has replied to your comment". So have your last word, fuck heads like you need that smallest of victories in your lives, simply to justify your dad's decision NOT to knock one out in the bathroom before he got in bed with your mum the night you were fucking conceived - prick

  • Terry Hall sucks

  • piss off wanker

  • Ian Broudie is really better.

  • this is a great song... but i have to say that both Broudie and Hall sound better in the studio versions of the song... But the song is still great!

  • @joblob69

can you borrow me your brain? I'm building an idiot and yours would be f*cking perfect for the job!

  • It's lend, not borrow, but you're right, he's an idiot!

  • lend/borrow, so what? don't need an english lesson thx, this ain't no f*ckin university forum, and I don't need you pulling holes in my posts ya f*cking pedantic twat

  • lol i love it when someone slags someone off then takes it so well when they get it back.

  • you rubbished my grammar, not my opinion - there's a difference you moron

  • Thanks for this, love both Terry Hall and the Seeds.

  • I like them both but seriously I think Ian broudie´s version is better. Ian broudie have produced a lot of great bands.

  • to joblob69 - keep with x factor, u know your limits!!

  • i'm in love with terry hall. his version of sense is so much better than the lightning seeds version.

    *sigh*

  • i disagree, the video which has the lightning seeds version where ian broudie does the lead vocals and terry hall does backing is better because the quality of terry hall's voice in the background is so superior and enhanced (just check the video if you don't believe me)

  • quality!

  • Love the song, sung MUCH better by Ian Broudie....

  • i just love terry halls music have done nearly all my life, he is amazing!

  • This is sadly so tame... Terry Hall's solo version of 'Sense' is far better than The Lightning Seeds attempt...

Terry Hall did a blistering version of 'Sense' with his own backing band on Later...With Jools Holland...it was really tight & pounded along..he knows how to deliver a song when left to it....!!!

  • i agree totally terry version is better

  • Excellent song!

  • i really really love the song. thanks for uploading!!!

(too bad i still can't find the music videio of terry hall's version)

  • i loved thne Lightning seeds - it's a shame Terry Hall doesn't make more music
