For those people that compare forms to fighting, get over it. We all know that you would not use a B twist in a fight, but they are not fighting. Martial arts is an ART FORM like dance. Some people practice for the beauty of it. You would not use a pant brush to kill someone even though you can. Just because you practice to "kill" does not mean everyone has to.

It's called sports martial arts which is only loosely based on self-defense. It's difficult and just as much a sport as gymnastics or football, plus most schools also teach self defense. Search on self-defense martial arts to find what you are looking for.

How was that dragon ball z? She did a lot of practical things, and if you'll notice, she did that spinning combination a lot, which, in a fight, is reallistic. Naturally you tend to do something you are comfortable with, so she did that, and added some flash for entertainment prurposes ONLY! I don't think any martial artist would attempt a backflip in a real situation, but it looks cool!

Not true, just because you have great power does not mean you have great flexibility. Most martial artists have strong kicks but few are hyper flexible. Most traditional martial arts don't even recommend kicking above the waist. Most people who are hyper-flexible actually sacrifice good kicking technique because they are able to 'cheat'. They don't require good form to reach high.
