I am also having my MUN conference soon, though I don't know at all what we have to do there -.- Our teachers didn't say ANYTHING and thus i don't really know what to expect! oO Can anybody please tell me? :) I am going to be a delegade of a European Country (Human Rights Council)
thaaaanks
ah, and I am a rather shy person. Do I have to speak in front of lots of people? oO Thanks!
@Lara201117 my only advice is to remember that no one knows you, and you can be anyone. Someone faked a british accent throughout the whole conference, and we didn't find out until the next conference
@Lara201117 i was also HRC in my first mun. i was so nervous and like you didnt knew a lot. besides everyone was older than me. but its a good oppurtunity to try to loose your shyness
@Lara201117 see you don't nessecarily have to speak in front of lots of people unless you want to make a speach and/or point of information in the GA. Depending on the number of delegates in your commitee you WILL have to speak in front of a good number of people nonetheless... It's perfectly normal if you get a bit scared your first time, but you'll eventually warm up and start talking. Have fun!
In our MUN conferences, we have at least 50 delegates in each commission....
