basically, if you want, lets say, different body parts on a character to be motion tweened seperatly. Youd make a layer for the body. Then add a new layer, for...i guess the head. Layers make things more convient as to animating seperate parts.

if you still dont really get it go watch a flash basics tutorial on youtube, thats basically where i started

Hey, just wondering, where can I get macromedia flash? Google hates me at the moment...I would like to make a flash video for a school project, but I don't have the correct software on my computer. Very nice beginning concept... Great way to help people start off.

I heard you mention that you don't animate stick figures too often, but when you do, it might help to use the grid in Flash to prevent from resizing your stick figure. Works great for me.

For one thing, its called pronouncing not spelling.

and here are two reasons for that,

1) I have a different way of saying things (Accent). Pivot even without an "e" at the end can still sound like "Pie". And I said it fast, so I was actually saying "Pie-Vot", not "Pie-Vit".

2) As mentioned above, I say things differently because of my accent. For instance, I pronounce "Hello" as "Hallo". I'm american, but I've lived in Trinidad longer than I have here...

Well, I'm very sorry my accent is different from yours. And I'm also sorry your one year older. But I'm sure their are younger kids out their maybe better than you and me with animation :).

In fact, it just so happens I know a 10 year old that can make wonderful animations. He's my brother. I have him to thank for showing me how to animate.

I also wasn't insulting you. But sorry if I did. I was just pointing out that age doesn't matter. If you put yourself to it, it is possible!

Flash is way better than pivot. You can make more than just stick figure animation in flash. Your imagination is not limited in flash.

F6 on keyboard. Or insert>new/blank keyframe.

try F7. That makes blank keyframe.

F6 can too but only if your previous frame has nothing in it.

Also make sure you have onionskin turned on.
