But I want to add to this discussion. I hate it when people only care about the way the band looks, although I am guilty to a few fangirl moments, but I still care about the music more than anything. A band could look great, but if they're music's naff then I wouldn't just like them because they're good looking.

About the talentless musicians comment, I completely agree. They get by on looks alone, packaged and shipped off to market a specific genre or label. Their voices are digitally edited, the music written for them, their voices trained. You can barely call them artists. But as for the pretty boys statement, the Jonas Brothers are a prime example. I have heard them live on national television, I must say they are a rather poor example of talent. So in a sense, it is the same in the states.

Lol thats fair enough, but credit where credit is due. More comments on the music would be more desirable to more comments on their look. For purely visual-kei bands I think it is SOMEWHAT more acceptable to comment more on the aesthetics, but with bands like Kra, where the musical talent is obviously the focus, not some corny image, well, its just frustrating when fangirls troll the same comments over and over again.
