an automatic transmission with a high stall converter would take this car to the next level. it would be nice to hold max boost through the gears instead of having to let off the gas and loose boost every time you have to upshift...my fav audi

Audis rip up autos so fast... So much that in the Audi community (especially with older cars like these) the auto transmissions are known as "slushboxes." Also, he probably has a diverter (or bov) to keep down shift lag.

@gtn116 Thanks for the reply, is one of the main reasons why nobody use's "slushbox's" because nobody make's performance built auto's that can take the abuse? Sure manuals are tons of fun but once you reach a certain power level they can slow you down, but I guess not if you have anti lag that holds boost between shifts like I just put on my 2011 GT500. Check out my video's if you like. But I may go auto if I hit 800+whp just for consistency and durability since bullet proof auto are avaiable

I haven't really seen much for performance swap-in autos, everyone just seems to use manuals. Also, I have seen anti-lag in Audis.
