and a yummy cake on channel 8.

    :D

  • I've never heard anyone say beery. Then again, I've never seen anyone say any of the listed. I mostly hear shitfaced or wasted, but whatever.

  • Both questions were easy and fair. Fucking idiots.

  • if they rephrased the happy birthday question slightly, it would have been a little fairer.

  • I never sing 'and many more' at the end of a happy birthday song... It depends entirely on who sings it in what way, what a completely unfair question.

  • Beery! Not a good sign for public education in his state?

  • @knighterrantfilms and the funny thing is, the word I ha to type to post was liquamot ie liquid word if you're french... mot

  • Even I didn't know the happy birthday one

    Bearing

In mine this is the US version so you probably sing it differently to us

  • Should've been "pissed".

  • lol i didnt know them.

  • I bet the first guy doesn't even like to celebrate his own birthday anymore.

  • It's beery

  • it's Happy B-day

    wtf

  • I can't get the 1st questions either! But, I should be on the show!

  • i used to get answer correctly on WHo Wants to be a Millionaire, then I took an arrow to the knee

  • both choose b and both were c lol

  • congrats Kevin, you're gonna be on youtube!

  • stoopid fuckin jerk

  • Well to he honest, these first questions are more difficult than the tens of thousand dollar questions.

  • lol if that happened to me id go home beat my wife then go on a killing spree

  • Ive never heard "and many more" at the end of happy birthday.

  • i never said and many more after happy birthday 0.0

  • @00Mj000

and many more on channel 4 and scooby doo on channel 2. Maybe if you were allowed near children you'd know this. Stupid pedo

  • @CsoTy well, u cant blame me for not knowing this, if im not a kid like you

  • Haha...Chris looks pissed.

  • The answer *was* fairly obvious but it's forgivable. Who the fuck says "beery"?

  • @PSshadow92

    Should have used tippsy :)

  • $0 Has never looked so cool :P

  • Too good!!! Never heard of that before... moron...

  • On Question 2, i'm 12 and know the answer

  • Since A, B and D have nothing, whatsoever, to do with any possible human condition, we're sort of left with C.

  • And Many More On Channel 4

And scooby do on channel 2

    And frankenstein on channel 9

  • 0$ winners? what did they win?

  • @llVIU

    Shame, nothing else.

  • @llVIU 0$..

  • @Oo9ale7oO but what if I told you they lost 0$...

  • According to the dictionary beery does not mean slightly inebriated.

Also Jello shots can get you drunk. I think that was a dumb question.

  • Hmm I guess if you associate beery with drunk and substitute it in with slightly milky, slightly watery, slightly drunk or slightly jello-hotty you would find by inductive reasoning that it would be C. I'd rule out D from a first glance and possibly B also. However, I don't think it would be intuitive for me.

  • Comment removed

  • @ha1290 he meant never heard of inebriated before >.>

  • 0:40 He woke up thinkin "Im gonna look so effing smart in this sweet outfit"

1:12 He fell asleep thinkin "The world knows im an idiot. My wifes gonna divorce me!"

  • HAPPY BEERY BIRTHDAY!!!! :D

  • God, it must suck to walk off the show with $0 dollars.

  • does DRUNK=Jello-shotty?

  • "Beery" has never been said before. Ever. Yeah, the obvious choice out of all the other answers would be "beery," but come on. I feel bad for that guy. He totally got played by a word that doesn't even exist.

  • Next time im at a party i'm going to stand up and say "I'm feeling kinda beery" and see if I don't get punched in the mouth.

  • No one ever sang happy birthday to him

  • Hey. Dont make fun of him. He's never had a birthday or been to one.

  • @IAMOUTBREAK Yes, he's less than a year old clearly. With a sentence like that I imagine you'd be the type to go away with nothing as well haha.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 lol. There are alot of people in the world that have never had a birthday or been to one. You never know about this guy.

  • @IAMOUTBREAK Do you not understand what you're saying? He's obviously had many birthdays as he's clearly more than one year's old. What you mean is he's never had a birthday PARTY, I hope.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 It's a joke. Do you not understand?

  • @IAMOUTBREAK I get the joke you were trying to make but it wasn't worded properly or funny. Better luck next time.

  • @LiamCrowley1990 Certain people find certain things funny.

  • Meredith Vieira - although Fuckable... always overacts. BITTCH !

  • @rockstarrist Yes, until the 3-inch layer of makeup comes off.

  • @TboneIsRogue oh ... didnt considr that.. but I 'd definitely do her.. although iam only 17.

  • It's bad enough you suck and fail, but they just have to flash the big sign, "TOTAL EARNINGS: $0", just in case everyone else missed it. LOL

  • Beer ? Never heard of it before ... I inebriate myself with water !

  • I bet Chris got "inebriated" after his lost

  • First guy probably got confused because people sing For he's a jolly good fellow at birthdays too, second guy is just a moron.

  • should've just asked hte audience if they had that lifeline, they're really only useful for easy questions anyway

  • did i hear Homer Simpson at 0:18? O_o

  • Beery? You hear "buzzed" and "tipsy" quite a bit in Arizona, but in two years driving a cab I have never heard "beery".

  • both of those questions for fucking easy...come on!!

  • i'm a 15 year old dutch boy and i know that inebriated means drunk ._.

  • wow...she seems sorry for them..but really she says that every person because she has to do that.

  • in order to answer that question you need to know what inebriated means. Well i don't... LOL

  • That new clock system is so retarded. Probably the #1 reason why I don't watch that show anymore.

  • @OMFGWTFBBQCOPTER There's no more clock.

  • I've never heard "and many more" used in happy birthday, wtf?

  • @jrw97 I know! Is that an American thing.

  • @kev9089798767 No, I'm American

  • @jrw97 Really? I think it was harder than the other question.. I'm not sure it's actually part of the song, it's just something people "add on" at the end in a drawn out tone. I'm Australian and I've definitely heard it plenty of times but, then again, I watch quite a lot of television and could well have seen it on the screen.

I guess when you have 4 options it's pretty obvious even if you haven't heard it... i.e. what reason would there be for saying it at the end of any of the other songs?

  • he hit the jackpot!!!!

  • Wow, there's actually a clock. Where I leave, one can think for like a whole show.

  • I knew all of these, are Americans usually this stupid or what

  • The first guy just makes me want to cry. He didn't know the answer because he's never had friends to sing Happy Birthday to him before. It's okay guy.

  • @TheGoodOne10101 Wow..double wow, people are still commenting after 8 months.

  • It's totally irrelevant if you've "never heard of the word beery". If you aren't stupid, then you'll already know that:

    "inebriated" = DRUNK

Does DRUNK = Milk?? Does DRUNK = Water?? Does DRUNK = Beer??

  • @HA1290

I guess getting totally wasted and having the curiousity to know the proper term under being such condition apparently earns you big bucks here.

  • @nisbahmumtaz909 Just because I know the word "inebriated", it doesn't mean I'm "getting totally wasted"...If someone knows what "stoned" means, do you automatically assume that person knows that word because he or she "gets stoned"??

And the word "inebriated" isn't even that uncommon (it's a fancy word for "drunk"), and there's NO EXCUSE BUT STUPIDITY for the contestant to not know what it means..especially considering his age and the fact that he obviously wasn't speaking in broken English

  • @HA1290

Sorry if my previous comment offended you. It's just that of all the things to be considered stupid for not knowing, language seems to be...the least critical.

What MUST be considered is his background. American? So he must have had alcohol before, because he is not from an Islamic/whatever that prohibits country. Also, English is the main language, unlike some guy who emigrated from Asia or something. Lastly, yeah, he's old. Must have come across the word SOME time in his life.

  • @nisbahmumtaz909 Exactly, lots of people on here actually defending his stupidity, saying "I've never heard of beery either". It's common sense...if you already know "watery" = "water" and "milky" = "milk", then you should also know what "beery" is

But at the same time, I'd guess that maybe had the question actually said the word "drunk" instead of "inebriated", he most probably would have answered correctly. If he still would have said "watery", then THAT would have been EVEN MORE STUPID

  • @HA1290 Haha you just keep replying people who is an idiot and who isn't. ^^

  • @HA1290 *you

  • @nisbahmumtaz909 Lol this is one of the dumbest comments I've ever read on YouTube. It's akin to saying someone knows what, say, 'pilfering 'means because they steal things. Or someone knows what 'molestation' means because they like to sexually assault people and are curious to find out another meaning of the word that describes their activities.

  • @8nikolas8

    Very common terms there, pal.

  • @nisbahmumtaz909 And inebriated isn't a common word, pal? I'd actually say it's far more common than "pilfering". Are you seriously standing by what you said? I just can't believe you would think people know what "inebriated" is because they like to get drunk and have some urge to find out another meaning for the word? I in fact knew the word before I was drinking. I guess you're trying to make yourself feel better after you didn't know the meaning of a word in the first question on Millionaire.

  • @8nikolas8

    Good point.

  • @HA1290 he was saying he has never heard inebriated before. think before you are such a dick

  • @Juntjumper If a person in the same age group as the contestant and speaking English in an "English as a first language" kind of way says he's "never heard of 'inebriated' before", then he doesn't belong on the show

If that person is asked a simple question: "The word 'inebriated' = ?" and the choices are "Milk", "Water", and "Beer" and he answers either "Milk" or "Water", then that means HE'S AN IDIOT. If he was high school age or younger and/or speaking broken English, that's different

  • @HA1290 Well you seem like AN IDIOT for thinking that when he said he had "never heard the word before" that he was referring to the word beery and not the word inebriated

  • @Juntjumper YOU'RE the one who said (and I'm quoting you on it) that "he was saying he has never heard inebriated before"..If you read back, those are YOUR EXACT WORDS not mine. So then why the hell are you calling ME an idiot for "thinking it" when YOU'RE the one who said it yourself?

And I repeat, it doesn't matter whether or not you or anyone has "never heard of 'beery' before". If you already know that "Milky" = "Milk" and "Watery" = "Water", then you should also know what "Beery" =

  • @HA1290 Will you fucking read more carefully you hotheaded dickwipe? I'm saying he wasn't complaining about never hearing the word beery. HE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT NEVER HEARING THE WORD INEBRIATED. In your previous comment you said "it doesn't matter whether or not you or anyone has 'never heard 'beery' before' " Stop insisting that both me and the contestant can't conclude that beery = beer! Are you hearing me man!?!

  • @HA1290 Yeah now you found your mistake. Dont wanna reply? Its alright faggot

  • @HA1290 drunk equals beer, but what about jello shots? you make jello for jello shots with liqour right? i have a lot i need to learn for college coming up.

  • @HA1290 I Think he ment he has never heard the word "inebriated" before. Either way, he should have used a life line before taking a wild guess.

  • @georgearakawa The host says "You know, inebriated drunk beery", and then he said "Never heard of that before". Given his age and command of the English language, he had to have been familiar with the word "inebriated", and so what he really meant was that he had never heard of "beery" before. But whatever the case, he was just too stupid to reason out that "Inebriated" = "Not 'Milky' / 'Watery' "

  • @HA1290 unless you've never heard of the word inebriated before and have no idea what it means?

  • @StarCraftSaint Then in that case, you're an idiot and don't belong on the show. On the other hand, if you're high school age or younger and/or speaking English in a way that it's obviously not your first language, then that's a different story. And as you just saw, neither applies to this contestant.

  • @HA1290 i dunno...it seems like one of the "stupid" choices they put on those beginning questions. i've never heard the word beery in my life lol

  • @thecharliecollins Well neither have I, but come on! These types of questions are all about putting an obviously correct answer with 3 obviously wrong ones, and then hoping that the contestant has the common sense to eliminate the all wrong ones (even if the contestant has "never heard of it before")...Although maybe if the question actually said "drunk" instead of "inebriated" he might have answered correctly. If he still would've said "Milky" / "Watery", that would be an even bigger problem

  • @HA1290 Yeah, and try doing that in 15 seconds with hundreds of thousands of people watching you, on a question with a stupid answer. Hindsight is 20/20, something that you fail to grasp.

  • @HA1290 How did come up with this nonsense logic. If you've never, heard, seen, or read a word its almost impossible to put a meaning/definition to it. Example: If you never watched Disney, odds are you no nothing of the "bear necessities" and how its a play on words.

  • "Milky" is "Milk", and "Watery" is "Water". So therefore, "Beery" is "Beer", It isn't "nonsense logic", it's common sense. It's totally irrelevant if "you've never heard of 'beery'". I actually hadn't heard of it either. Many times In thos game, all it takes to come up with a correct answer is to eliminate 3 obviously incorrect ones. Since it is the first question, we all know it isn't D). And C) is the only one that contains alcohol (which can cause people to be "slightly inebriated")

  • @Tacoma1993 .... That is true for some words but cmon, inebriated means drunk. Unless he didn't know this I have no idea how beery wouldn't be obvious. Milky is used on stuff like chocolate. Watery is like soaked. D. is just fkin nonsense. Beery...beery...beer....beer....drinking....drunk...EUREKA!!!!

  • @HA1290 he had never heard of inebriated you retard.

  • @jhunt123456 At 1:03 the host says "You know, inebriated, drunk, beery" and then the contestant says "Never heard of that before". Given his age and command of the English language, he had to have heard the word "inebriated" before - the word "inebriated" isn't even that uncommon. But the word "beery" IS uncommon, so basically what he really meant was that he's never heard of "beery" before.

And YOU'RE one who's a retard, not me. Cheers

  • @HA1290 lol, see now you're just assuming that he'll know what inebriated is because it's "not that uncommon." That's so typical idiocy. If he knew what inebriated was, there's no way in hell he would think to go for anything but beery. Good game.

  • @jhunt123456 He most probably HAS heard of "inebriated" before (there's no way that he hasn't heard of it, not at his age) but he was just too stupid to connect it with the word "beery". And then as an excuse he says "Never heard of that ('beery') before". There are other comments on here saying the same thing, comments such as "I know what inebriated means, but the word 'beery' threw me off", or something like that. Oh well, whatever

  • @HA1290 you're still assuming that he there's no possible way he wouldn't know what inebriated means... it's not like the word "the" which you can ALMOST safely say everyone knows, but there can ALWAYS be an exception. People who can't connect "beery" with "inebriated" if they know what inebriated means are the true retards. You would at least guess beery...

  • BEERY?!

  • they chose C twice in a row and lost to the answer being B in a row, lol.

  • These questions are really obscure. Beery? What is that?

  • The first guy looks like one of those friendly guys who turn out to be murders, psychopaths or rapists...

The second guy is a jew.

  • owwwww Kevin...

  • i have never heard and many more after happy birthday...

  • "Jello-shotty" is a great way to get inebriated.

  • I went out last night and got absolutely beery. It was mental. I'm not beering for a week now.

  • i don't like that timer.. it would make me panic more and not have time to think about the answer...

  • BEERY?! ....i never hrd it b4 all i keep hearing is shit faced

  • I know this makes me stupid as f***, but I have never heard the word "beery" before and I'm close to C2 in English. Well, you always learn new stuff.

  • LOL this was on today. absolutely heartbreaking/hilarious. I can;t belive heartbreaking/hilarious works for a context

  • I think back to back losers happened twice before during Meredith's era. Wikipedia said this not long after it happened the second time which I witnessed on TV. Two missed questions of the last incident were something to do with the 5 cent coin and Uncle Sam and both were $500.

  • Yeah Beery question seemed legitimately difficult. First guy was just stupid or the timer got the best of him. Still hilarious when he got up and the host hugged him he didn't even hug her back.

  • I guess the beery guy never drank before. But. who does use the word? Dumb question. If they went back to the older version, questions difficult, but able to be figured out. SMH

  • um happy birthday? i dont end my happy birthday song with "and many more"???

  • @IEIMIIN3IM Not a lot of people do.

  • I remember on the computer game, they would show you a check with $0.00 and Regis would say, "Hey look at this way, no taxes, that's zero income my friend you have even pay a dime for that so congratulations."

  • @Stevieray100 LOL. Millionaire 2nd version. 0 so lonely, even lonelier of 1. LOL

  • For he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow For he's a jolly good fellow (pause), and many more.

  • My dad even tried out for millionaire, but didn't make it, and he says: "they don't pick me but they pick these idiots?"

  • This old fagg! Never heard before? He'll yeah so!? That's why u have 3 helps, why u don't use it than guessing some crap?

  • Poor people... they musta got crucified when they got home.........ugh

  • that was the hardest first question ive ever seen (the beery question)

  • @mecha03 also, Millionaire US has had 90 - 100 contestants leave with $0 (18 Primetime, 70+ Syndicated)

  • @mecha03 and because they have this time limit which is flawed i can count many times that the presenter has wasted time on questions. you dont get to no the contestant its all rushed and is a embarrassment to the UK version

  • @mecha03 As far as I know there has been there has been 8 contestants so far in England, so far there hasn't been any i've seen since 2007, I haven't seen all of them yet. Now, I just wonder how many $0 winners we had, cause there's been so many.

  • the clock is bullspit

  • WHY DOES SHE CHANGE HER VOICE TO THAT HIRNY VOICE AHH IM SO SORRY XD

  • back to back $0 winners, maybe you should try to blame the clock

  • @undiejuice Hey retard, theres more then just 2 who failed. and notice how United States has way more of a population

  • @mecha03

No it's because in the UK version we have a mini quiz at the beginning to extract anyone who is obviously not intelligent

  • what the fuck kinda question was that?????

  • Sorry but who doesn't know what inebriated means? I haven't heard beery but if you knew the definition of inebriated you could figure it out easily. Guy was just dumb.

  • after tax, the contestant has to pay the tv show

  • beery?? wow that fool got gyped

  • Kevin has never been invited to a birthday party, how was he to know?

Chris only pounds hard liqour, he's never been "slightly" inebriated, how was he to know?

These questions are too hard for socially awkward people.

  • 2 flunk out's in a row? Unbelievable. And it's even happened once before in the Original Format of the Game. I don't know if i'm right, but I think the US has had more $0 winners, than any other country, on Who Wants to be a Millionaire

  • NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! The timer thing RUINED it!!! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOO!

  • I didn't know that either. And, beery isn't a word is it?

  • i didnt even no that...

  • i didn't know the first one. ive never heard and many more in happy birthday

  • Aus here; don't know either of those two either.

  • Dude I would cry and cut myself that would be sooo embarrassing!!!!

  • Who the fuck sings "and many more" at the end of Happy Birthday? Honestly

  • @Retartedflyinghippos old people?

  • Beery??? I NEVER heard that before.. Till Now..

  • IIRC, someone just after or just before these two went out after just a couple questions. I think there were 4 or 5 contestants on the single episode.

To be fair though, the second question is an odd one for $100. I suppose beer=inebriation, but I have never heard that term before either.

  • I never heard of "beery" either, but common sense told me that right away.

  • Happy Birthday and many more. Never heard of that

  • Gay questions, don't blame them

  • The birthday one I've never heard of, but you can guess it. The phrase "I wish you many happy returns" is common on birthdays.

I'm not a drinker, but I know what inebriated means...

  • "Oh darn, Kevin, you fucking dumbass."

  • Some statistics from the UK if you're interested:

The UK has had eight £0 winners, 7 of whom failed at the fifth question.

The most someone has lost in the UK version is £218,000, with two people doing so. Nobody has lost on the final question in the UK.

There have been five UK £1,000,000 winners.
