  • this is so awesome i tryed it and i kept getting good comments at my school TRY IT IT LOOKS AWESOME!

  • @4everbdaygirl cool! You should take a photo :) I'd love to see!

  • its perifide water at room temperature. and make sure to always put a bass coat under like a white color and always clean da extra nail polish of the water to get a clean look on ur nail

  • will that work on toes? :)

  • iTS WARM WATER OR COLD?

  • @Gentiana731 Room temperature is fine. So somewhere in the middle!

  • @Gentiana731 I saw a video that said room temperature

  • Comment removed

  • a little to long but it looks very cool my mom won't let me try it darn :D

  • didn't work

  • u reming me of Sarah Jessica Parker :D

    u r awsome ^^

  • well when i tryed it my nail varnishes dident spread

  • Never mind about my last comment

  • Put tape on your fingers before you dip it in

  • i Really really liked it and im going to try it :)

  • @Matt777N awesome! let me know how it turns out :)

  • while ur finger is in the water try blowing gently on the polish to make it dry so u ca n just dip and swirl

  • @KHR327fan great tip :)

  • I use vaseline so all I have to do is wipe it off. Mine take sooo long to dry (I always keep bumping my nails against something)

  • You tape around your nails. It prevents the polish from getting everywhere.

  • i she a model???

  • @paryallnight who? me?

  • does the water need to be cold , warm or hot???? PLEASE RESPOND

  • @lucychick112 it can work either way. i use cold and it works fine but it all depends on the nail polish

  • @lucychick112 I've done this a few times and I find that cold filtered water works best but you have to change it after a few nails because it gets mucky and stops the polish from spreading

  • @lucychick112 I used warm water (maybe a little on the colder side). Basically just room temperature

  • @lucychick112 room temp

  • why does it never WORK 4 MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • a tried... but it does not work... polish just stay as a small dot and not disperse on topof the water.. i was trying this dor like 3 hours... but no effect... :/

  • the polish only sinks to the bottom if the water is too warm... it works best with room temp water

  • Blow on the pant while your finger is in the water so you can pick up the paint more easily with the q tip.

  • @Snugglebunny774 great tip :)

  • @fadingdreams300 do you have to clean the side or can u just dip in out and then next finger dip in out and keep going till all of it is gone

  • @dolfi46 You may be able to get 2 different fingers in before re doing the drops but then it can tend to look not as neat (like in my video lol). So ideally it would be good to only put one nail in, per design but for trying things out and if you don't mind if they don't all look identical, you can usually get 2 in!

  • @dolfi46 while your finger is still in the water, take a pencil, or anything like that & clean all around the finger- swirl up all of the left over nail polish, then when ALL the polish is out of the water, pull your finger out of the water very slowly, so you don't get water drops=bubbles under the nail polish

  • lol that looks like a mess but OH WELL! :) luv ur nails<3

  • Haha Chipmunk voices!

  • mine stays as a small dot including with brand new nail polish and room temperature water so I don't really know what to do

  • Ur pretty I like u and ur nails hahahahahaha

  • @Talabeaty10 aw thanks so much

  • it works a lot better if you use room tempature filtered water. just a little tip.

  • here is a tip: you can do two nails at once to not waste a much nail polish and be able to keep the design .

  • Quick tip; some nail polishes work better than others. For instance one of my Revlon ones spreads perfectly but then my OPI one just stays in it's little circle/ball. Try different ones to find which works best.

  • @chunkymonkey0831 is it filtered water and room temperture.

  • @chunkymonkey0831 some brands of nail polish kind of drys up depending on what type of nail polish and water you use.

  • it did not work

  • its a toothpick!! haha

  • when ever i try to do it the nail polish doesnt disperse in the water.. is there any reason for this in particular?

  • @xTsukixsarahx

The temperature of the water make sure its not too cold, and not too hot, it has to be room temperature :)

  • I liked all the colors but it was to long/

  • pretty

  • PLEASE RESPOND

ive been trying to do this but my colors are watery enough and theres nothing wrong but itd judt NOT WORKING. any advuce?

  • @Penguin9796 what do you mean by them not working? Does the polish sink to the bottom? or does it just stay as a small dot and not disperse on top of the water.

  • @fadingdreams300 it does that to me

  • au rato ar gamomdis mee ??

  • Rainbow

  • You have to us thin nail polish xx :)

  • whenever I use thick nail polish it doesnt spread out o.o

  • it doesn´t work, i dont know what am i doing wrong booo

  • What's the best brand 2 use?

  • But i used the Sally Hansen nail polish but it kinds drys or something in the water and when i try to make a design it sticks to the toothpick what am i doing wrong?

  • UMMM is there a certain nail polish you have to use?

  • mine didnt work ive tryed all water all my nail polish and it doesnt spread im using a little bowl like that

  • @321oreo123 i swear mmine to! it doesnt spread and then it gets fry and when i try and make a design with a toothpick it comes right out the water i swear im so frustrated!!!

  • you could also take more fingers to the water so you´ll got more nails..... but you have to look , that they are all get to the water at the same time.... i mean your dish is big enough for about 3 or 4 fingers...... i´ve tryed it and it works realy good

  • lol you always put tape around it, i have never seen a video where someone has not put tape around it lol

  • @boomybeautiful88 you can put lip balm or vaseline on your finger (everywhere except the nail) which also works well instead of tape. The polish won't stick to the vaseline, it slides right off. :)

  • parang tanga lang

  • a little clumpy looking

  • tape your fingers to make the clean up process easier

  • I love how everyone's nails on youtube look so much better then mine when I try to do it:(

  • @Killerbrat94 I think that too! lol This was my 2nd try so I don't think mine looked that good. I have practiced it more now and they turn out a lot better.

You just have to practice at it :)

  • you might want to let the polish drop closer to the water: this avoids the polish from going to the bottom of the dish. aalso, toothpicks work better than pencils :)

  • None of my nail polishes spread!!!

  • @xMiintCandyx did they just fall in a ball on the bottom? If so, hold the brush RIGHT over the water, so the drop doesn't have a long way to go! Also make sure you are using a thick polish

  • @xMiintCandyx some colors dont. just keep doing drops on top of the color and the other colors will help it spread

  • @xMiintCandyx try using room temperature filtered water (just leave a bottle of water out over night). It should work on most colours :)

  • @xMiintCandyx try using warm water instead of cold

  • Love it. Thnx

  • @fadingdreams300

    Yeah it sinks :(

  • @LoverLmfao try dripping the polish from just above the surface. The longer it has to fall (if you hold the brush high up) the more momentum it will have and will want to sink to the bottom. Try dripping it right above and if the first one or two doesn't take, just keep trying. or try a different polish brand.

  • @fadingdreams300

i tried to do it with the room temperature tap water but it doesnt work pleeaaaaseee HELP ME

  • @LoverLmfao whats going wrong? Does the polish sink? Does it not spread out? Does it not stick to your nail when oyu put it in?

  • I used room temperature tap water. My nail polish isn't working. Any recomendations?

  • @FunsizedBytch Try using filtered water. If you have more hard or soft water, it can make a difference. What nail polishes are you using? Thick ones work best! Also don't drop the polish from too high!

  • I cant wait toooo tryyyy thisssss!!!!!:)

  • Omg I can't wait to try this!!!!

  • I have tried this, and it didn't work. Maybe it is the water, how should the water be? Hoping for answers, and by the way. It looks great! :)

  • @Rebeckaaas Just room temperature tap water. What happened when you tried? Did the polish sink to the bottom? Did it not form a layer on top? What polish were you using? :)

  • @fadingdreams300 Thanks for your answer! :D Ok, the thing that happend was that it didn't form a layer on top, but maybe I had a bowl that was to big? The nailpolish I used is a cheap one, we have here in sweden. I believe that it was a h&m nailpolish. Did you leave your water to stand in front for some time or? :)

  • cant wait to try thiss(:

  • @nickiminaj110 let me know how it turns out :)

  • @fadingdreams300 u r so pretty and u r great at nails and always happy!!! I love you!!! Plz reply back lol

  • @sprinksonicecream aww thanks so much! Make sure you check out my other videos. I am having a giveaway for a magnetic polish

Thanks so much for watching and commenting! ❤

  • @bshdgey haha

  • isnt this kind of a waster of nailpolish though? :P

  • @nevershoutnever3742 lol. If you use OPI or those brands, yes. But luckily the Sally Hansen ones are like $3-4 and I still have lots left after I do this!

  • @nevershoutnever3742 No it's only a few drops, bro.

  • awesome thank you so much!!! :)

  • It seems like ur always happy I LOVE IT

  • @Sanjojojus123 aw thanks!

  • I gonna do it now :) nice nails :)

  • what us room temperature im only 10 xD

  • @whitncy It is around 22°C or 72°F. But whatever feels luke-warm from the tap!

  • @fadingdreams300 Ohh!! Thanks!

  • UM....sorry cant really hear well but....are you using cold, warm or hot tap water...?? :)

  • @ameliarox664 room temperature water :)

  • @fadingdreams300 and whats tthaat?? :$

    im 11 haha.

  • @BeautyByCindy Just a good temperature to wash your hands in - but a bit colder. You don't want to feel that the water is hot but it shouldn't be really cold either. Temperature of the water doesn't matter too much just make sure the water isn't really hot or really cold

  • @ameliarox664 it's cold water just so u now :)

  • Your supposed to wipe the extra nail polish away befor you take your nail out

  • BUT YOUR SUPPOSE TO BLOW IT FIRST!!!!!!!! BEFORE YOU GET UP THE LEFT OVER DESIGN!!! THATS WHY IT WAS STIRRING INTO THE WATER AND THE NAILS WERE MESSED UP SORRY BUT THE COLORS WERE CUTE!!!!!! :p

  • pretty eye shadow girl!

  • wow! you put paper in all the nail or just round in the nail??

  • @AngelitaSakoy I just put tape around the nail. On my finger, but not over the nail.

You can also use vaseline or lip balm, and then the polish won't stick to your finger!

  • @fadingdreams300 thank you! i will try it

  • mine never comes out right! It always comes out in weird lines!

  • Ok sakis1992?

  • You might want to check the water or different finger nail polish

  • how did you do that ''chipmunk voice'' ?? :P With which program? :P

  • @TheDalis99 lol. I just sped up the video to make it go quicker and my normal voice turns into chipmunk!!

  • @fadingdreams300 yes, but when i speed up my video (in movie maker) my voice disappear!!

  • @TheDalis99 ooh strange. I use iMovie and it does chipmunk automatically! Although I wish it disappeared and I didn't sound chipmunky!

  • @fadingdreams300 What is iMovie??

  • @TheDalis99 it is a video editing program that comes free on all Macs! lol. Or you can buy it, but yea it comes with the computer and it is basic but does the job!

  • wow... I'm amaze. I'm gonna try that also.. Thanks for the video.. Love it! Keep it up!

  • @thea1120 aww thanks so much :)

  • بايات

  • This is cool. I would try but i have such short nails so it would look bad :[

  • Your a professional I'm goi g to try it today but I have a feeling it won't work out!!

  • @horsezrulze aw thanks so much! Mine isn't that great compared to other peoples, but it was only my 2nd time so with practice I'll (and you'll) get better!

Let me know how it works out for you!

  • did u use tap water or filtered

  • @jassygirl2721 I used tap but you can use either. Depending where you live you may have soft or hard water and that can make a difference so if it doesn't work with normal tap water, try filtered or bottled!

  • it s cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Water must be warm?

  • @TheDarcia5 room temperature is good!

  • @sparklingirish same thing happened to me!

  • 6:37 Looks like a jellyfish.... No effence, anyway, I like it

  • You can put Vaseline instead the tape , It works quickly and is easier <3

  • my bad never mind

  • what do yuu mean yuu taped it ?

  • it doesn't work for me! :( it dries too fast in the water!

  • @TheDalis99 try a variety of polishes (different brands and consistencies). Also make sure you aren't doing it in a drafty area. If you do it near a fan or open window with a draft, that could be why it is drying before you can do anything.

  • @TheDalis99 same! its so annoying!

  • it doesn't work for me! :(

  • you remind me of my sister. you both are good at nails and your voice sounds like hers :)))

  • @adublova Cool!!

  • que booooosta

  • or you can use lotion it wipes right off ^^

  • does it work with REALLY short nails i bite mine and i hate it !!!!!!!!

  • @zozzie24 yup, it will work even with super short nails. You just get less of a design since they are short but they will still work!! :)

  • @fadingdreams300 YAY but what type of water do you use

    tap water or bottled water

i dont know how to get filtered water lol

  • @zozzie24 I just used tap water and it worked fine for me!

  • @fadingdreams300 wow apparently that doesnt work but i now know it does lol

i thank you so much for posting this because ive always tried to do fancy nail art with my horrible short nails

  • Aww thanks for the video, I like short natural nails too :) , and this I wane try on my nails lol

  • hi what temp is the water because i did mine at room temperature but the nail polish just balled in it and sank to the bottom?

  • @mrssaidi I used room temperature as well. Make sure you don't hold the polish too far from the surface or it has more momentum and it goes to the bottom. Hold it really close over the water and let it drip

  • I Got A Tip:

Just put some petroleum Jelly (vasilene) around your outerside of your nails and when you dip your nail into the nail polish water It wont stick into your skin that had the vaseline! If you dont get me Message Me :)

  • it dose not work it stand my hand and it sucks so don't try it

  • you look like Sarah from the movie sorority wars :D x

  • Watching this is sorta trippy...

    Really cool though!

  • '-' zuado .-.

  • ummm... Where and How do you get the coating nail polish? people say that the nail art is going to stay longer when you putcoating nail polish on... I want the water marble to stay longer... plz help~!

  • @celinevote1 You mean like a topcoat? It is just a clear polish that helps seal in your colour or nail art. Pretty much all brands of polish have a top coat. Drugstore ones and higher end. My personal favourite is Beauty Secrets brand from Sally Beauty Store just because it is about 4x the size as regular polishes and costs $8. So pretty much the same price as others and it coats it soooo well and protects my polish a lot better than OPI ones, in my opinion

  • @fadingdreams300 thx soo much~!

  • @1stTwilightFreak You might have left the polish in too long before you went to do the design. The longer it stays in there without you doing anything, the more it will form a film on the water that won't want to break apart. Or then try it with a wooden point or using a different item. I didn't try using a needle so I am not sure how that would work but using the mechanical pencil seemed to not stick to it (although it isn't as fine as using a needle)

  • @1stTwilightFreak

    same problem here!

  • you look like catherine tate .

  • Какое безобразие! Ужас какой-то!

  • my sister tried to do this and the nail polish would take a very long time to come off the brush. but in your video the nail polish comes off with no problem. what did u do???? did u put nail polish remover in the nail polish bottle to soften it up????
