  • Do u have a video on how to play " small time blues". By Pete droge???

  • As this is one of my bros's favorite songs, who is now passed at age 24, I appreciate this tutorial. I will play this for my family some time soon.

  • just what i was looking for. top guy!

  • You are an amazing teacher! I am just beginning the guitar and love Pete Droge. Because of your teaching I can at least come close as a beginner! Could you tab the song 'Under the Waves'? I have been looking all over the net for it and can't find that song to play. That is the one I really want to learn. Thank you so much! And Jack is so cute!

  • Thanks alot Man! I would have never figured it out!

  • i'm in love! ahmigosh! so cute!

  • Your tutorial is wonderful-a great explanation of a great song. Thanks! And congratulations on your first child.

You mention suggestions for other songs--how about Droge's "If You Don't Love Me I'll Kill Myself." The recurring riff in that song is an incredible hook.

    Anyway, Thanks my friend!

  • its rare that I post much like this, but I had to stop and leave my thanks and some positive feedback. Someone else mentioned your a great teacher, and I have to agree. Well done indeed.

  • Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. I'm going to try and do some other tutorials but I've been pretty crazy since my wife and I recently had our first child. If anyone has any suggestions for songs please let me know. :-)

  • A big congrats to you and the mrs. on your first child. That's gotta be amazing, and a source of plenty of new songwriting inspiration.

Since you mentioned the Toyota tie-in with this song... how about Nick Drake?

Right after VW featured Pink Moon in a commercial, I researched his stuff. One of my prized collections now.

In particular, Which Will is one of my favs.

Have a listen, and enjoy the night.

  • great job! could you do a tutorial for "train love to stay"? thats another great one from pete droge

  • to put it in EADF#AD:

make the G string match the 4th fret on the D string (G is now the F#); make the B string match the 3rd fret on the new F# string (B is now an A); and make the skinny E match the 5th fret on the newly made A (E is now a D). Now you're in EADF#AD. Rock on.

  • wow ive never found a better teacher on youtube...ur amazing at the guitar and probably an even better person...5 stars from me

  • dude you are awesome but when you are tuning it down could you kind help those of us who can't read music?

  • Which strings are you strumming with your right hand?

  • Watch his hand.

  • aah ty! So much help. Subscribed and favorited :)

  • Nice, thanks man.

  • Thanks...great job

  • Thank you soo much. Love this song and excellent job with the tutoral!!
