@wiifan222, if you do try the recipe in the NYT, make sure you read it carefully. Some of the cinnamon and some of the sugar that is called for goes into the dough, and some is used for the topping.

Pooh and Tigger's donuts are the BEST!! Stop by anytime you're in their neighborhood.
