Hamilton drives for McLaren. Mercedes is just a partner with the team. They provide engines and the majority of the money to keep the team running. When Merc leaves McLaren will still be a team but will not have a major mfg for support. Hamilton will still work for McL and not move to Brawn with Merc. Button and Hamilton will not be team mates.
