  • @snowydro1

You obviously didn't live through the 70's

  • thanks Simmons

  • Billus Simmonius (Sporatas Guyus)

  • I swear, if I hadn't seen this movie before, but only heard the song, I would assume it was a really bad, late 70's porn.

  • simmons

  • SIMMONS!!!

  • SIMMONS^

  • I must have watched this movie 100 times in the early days of showtime

  • I so love this song! And I so love love this movie.

  • correct lyrics:

the road is open and we're rolling through, L.I.L.G.

we got a dream that maybe could come true, L.I.L.G.

if we just stay loose now, we'll come out alright.

there's something telling me our time is now,

its just a whisper but i know it somehow (just a whisper)

we got to listen got to do it now, L.I.L.G. for you and me.

the clouds have parted and the sun's come through, and L.I.L.G.

    there's nothing I can't be or we can't do, L.I.L.G.

if we hold together, we're gonna be alright.

  • This song brings back a time when anything was possible before life got so difficult.

  • the lyrics: The road is open and we're rolling through, L.I.L.G. We got a dream that maybe could come true, L.I.L.G. If we just be loose now, we'll come out alright There's something telling me our time is now It's just a whisper...but i know it's just a whisper We got to listen...got to do it now L.I.L.G...3x...for you and me The cloud's have parted and the sun's come thru L.I.L.G. (??? at 1:07-1:08) all we can do L.I.L.G. If we hold together we're gonna be alright. = the rest just repeats

  • LET THEM PLAY!!!

  • Long hair over the ears, wearing a number shirt and bell bottoms, riding a banana seat bicycle down the street to hang out and eat junk food , smoke cigarettes , say dirty words and use racial slurs while 8 and 9 year are olds trying to act their 18 or 19. Today's world is a little different... I'm so glad to have been a kid in the 70s.

  • This song brings me back to my childhood, not a worry in the world. We'd walk to the movie theatre and sneak in the back door. We didn't get kidnapped, mugged or in trouble for sneaking in. Life was so much easier back then. God, how I miss everyone from my past SO MUCH.

  • @99augie Yep, movies back then were $1.00 to $1.50 out in the small rural towns. The great thing back then is many small towns also had Drive Inn theatres too. The theatre ticket person didn't care if the movie was PG or R as long as you paid your $1.00. Thanks theatre relaxed policies I got to see many R rated movies like JAWS and ALIEN as a kid.

  • @chroniclerofthe70s Jaws was never R. Alien was though.

  • After reading all of the comments for this song and growing up in the 70s myself, I could certainly consider all of you my friends.

Born in 65, I saw the movie when I was 12 (same year as Star Wars) - Oh those wonderful Summers growing up in South FL.

Whoa - for just a moment I was back there.

P.S. Anyone else glad to see Jackie Earl Haley back on the screen again?????

  • @PeteShepard glad to see him back just not as Freddy Krueger the child moelester in the new Nightmare on Elm Street

  • @johnnyv1938 just like you john you ped

  • @PeteShepard Yep, that was a great summer. StarWars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Bad News Bears in Breaking Training, The White Buffalo, and Orca. Then later the The Incredible Hulk movie pilot aired in November of 77. It was a great time to be a kid.

  • Why does kelly start too get mad/jealous or whatever at his dad???

  • @uncagedfury24 his dad abandoned him when he was like 8, then he saw how cool he was with the other kids and he got pissed off

  • @gen7eral kelly leak was always a whiney little brat in those movies lol

  • love this movie and im only 12 years old

  • This movie always reminds me of what a marvel the Astrodome was..so many memories in that place for me. And right across the street from it? Six Flags Astroworld. RIP Astroworld and vacant Astrodome ..the 8th wonder of the world

  • Is this song on any CD's that anyone knows of? Thanks in advance.

  • anyone know the first theme song of the new 2005 starting bad news bears movie, i swear its so hard to come by, but i just love that guitar riff though

  • The 70's...Can't beat it! It was a special time in this universe that happens only once in a million years...Everything was happy in America.

  • @HHH100 Soooo true and well put!

  • @HHH100 It totally agree with your assessment of the 70's!!! It was a happy time on this planet!!!! glad you feel the same!!! Carry On!!!

  • @HHH100 oh bullshit

  • @sixsixxsixxxx Apparently, you missed out. That is too bad. Sorry for your pain. God Bless.

  • @sixsixxsixxxx Dude,..when I was a teenager/twentysomething I used to romanticize the 70s because of the sex, drugs and rock n' roll. Today I romance the 70s for a different reason...An average adult could earn a decent wage because there was plenty of jobs(with health insurance),because most everything was made in the USA. Cars, gas, food, beer, and entertainment etc. was cheap because our once mighty dollar was so strong. Also more attractive females per capita because of the baby boomers.

  • Thanks for the song! James Rolleston sings it btw. ;)

  • @imniki66 Ah cheers! :)

  • thanks for the great upload!brings back many good memories!

  • I love this movie and this song. Takes me back to when I was 8!

  • i love this song so much, brings back good memories from this movie :)

  • What came first? This or Right Back Where We Started From?

  • "There's something telling me our time is now" sounds like the 1812 Overture, or the da na na na na na na na na na.

  • This song is too 70's for it's own good. I LOVE it though.

  • "jews spiks niggas and a wop that throws airballs."

  • @suckelhead Who said that Tanner or Rush Limbaugh? LOL

  • "Shut up ya redneck. Dumb ass." Funny movie, great song.

  • Why did I think this was Don't Go Breakin' My Heart?

  • I love this song, and this is my favorite of the original 3 flick

  • wow... this brings back the memories. I remember seeing this movie at the United Artist theatre in Marina Del Rey Ca when I was 12. Loved it and returned several times for repeat viewings. Ahhh the summer of 77.

  • LOL! Wow I was born in '77! But I swear I should have been raised in that era, seemed better. I love this song, it just sounds like a better time. I love this movie!

  • @Damstraat It's still there but it's a Regal cinema's theatre now.

  • Me to Gabe!!

  • love this song and the movie.

  • Hey in the movie what kind of van was that?

  • I love the Bad News Bears movies (even the third one, which was kind of weak because it didn't even have Tanner, Lupus, or Ogilvie), because the all remind me of being a kid, even if I wasn't growing up in that time era. They just give you a real good feeling.

  • "Life Is Looking Good"

    Music By Craig Safan

    Lyrics By Norman Gimbel

    Sung By James Rolleston

  • Thank you!!!

  • Who sings this song!!!

  • I always liked the 2nd Bad News Bears movie best of all!

  • I know most people like the original and Matthau better but I always liked this movie alot better. It focused more on the kids than showcasing Oscar talent like the first movie did. Tanner gets to run his mouth more in this film, William Devane was a cooler coach, they win in the end unlike 1 & 3, and they are in the friggin' Astrodome! C'mon, can you beat that?

  • yeah, the second one is the best one

  • I worked the superbowl in Houston in 04 for the NFL and the dome is still there right next to Reliant Stadium. First thing I thought of was this movie. Which I think is the best of the trilogy.

  • I think I've played this 30 times since Friday. I watched the movie yesterday. Just reminds me of being a kid. Great song!

  • Loved the movie and always loved the song. Looking good!! Esp the exploding scoreboard at the Astrodome!

  • this is classic movie! brings back fond memories of growing up and playing sports in 1970s.

  • "Let Them Play" love this movie and song is perfetc fit for it

  • If you want the song...Just Google

BAD NEWS BEARS SOUND, MUSIC & VIDEO CLIPS .

The song is there. Right click -save target.

And then ya have the mp3 .

Ive been lookin for this for a long time myself.

  • Hello, how are you.......Hello, how are you.....

  • I love this movie! Great song too, for some reason it sticks in my head though I dont know the words.

  • Pretty funny movie. This song is good too.

  • Remember when they're cruising down the highway in the van while this song is playing, and they try and pick up that chick who is hitchhiking? She is the HOTTEST girl ever ! Talk about a hot 70's hippie chick with bell-bottom jeans. Sweet lord !

  • Somethings telling me that this won't be Jackie Earle Haley's theme song in the Watchmen movie.

  • best part of this movie is when engelberg is in the bathroom and they open the door and he has the kfc bucket covering his crotch...lmao

  • Song is terrific and the movie was great!! ~Get out there Bears and win one for the Looper~. Ya just gotta luv it. ~Gods Blessings~

  • where's the scene that the 2 mexicans tell their parents they need $2 for their trip?....that was the coolest part of the entire movie

  • haha that was great, two dollars for the both of them

  • He asks for $4 then silence...then says for the both of them...lol...damn..

  • $4............for both of us. LOL.

  • "for the both of us!!!"...lol!

  • @jabronie2008 The younger "mexican" is now an LA County Sheriff.

  • This used to be my favorite movie as a kid. It's such a magical feeling to hear a song that I haven't heard in like 20 years. Thanks for posting this!

  • thats like the greatest 70's kid's sports movie song ever....

  • So True!!

  • In case no one has noticed, it has the same beginning notes as Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. That was in keeping with the original movie's playing of classical music. It's been years since I saw this movie, but I think even the credits give some mention of Tchaikovsky, such as "suggested by" or some such thing.

  • its sung by james rolleston

  • Is that true. You are the only one who knows this. Where can i download or get the mp3 version of Life is Looking Good?

  • Ah, memories....

  • Yeah, I agree the songs fantastic and you most definately are retarded! Wonder if you know just how much of a retard you are. Ahhh, you can always ask your friends or family, or consult the family shrink.

... but it was still a good movie and an even better song

  • It would have been good to have Walter Mattheau in the second Bad News Bears movie though, he was good in the first movie though.

  • Im on limewire and i cant find the song
