obviously, you have a preconcieved notion and agenda regarding the book and the religion itself. assuming this initial approach of conflict-oriented intentions, what do you expect to learn? you cant fill a cup that is already full, and yours seems to be filled with negativity and an arrogance of knowing everything, and therefore, feel driven to judge those who search for positivity. i don't understand what about the persuit of a pure body or clear mind threatens you so much...hmmm
I read the book, I researched LRH's claims, I compared the methods described in the book to modern and accepted detoxification methods, I reviewed the work that was critical of CBCM...
You know something? I think I put in more research to this book than LRH did.
"every subject"... but wait, I thought there were no absolutes, and hubbard said SP's speak in absolutes and commonly say things like "every" to generalize.
Yellow is for unsupported claims, e.g., "My research demonstrates blah blah blah, which I did not publish in any medical journal of repute and so you can't see or critique it."
They offer a program and claim that it helps but also write in the book that they claim no medical results because they know it's trash and they don't want to get sued and so push every responsibility far far away from them. Pathetic cult is pathetic.
Thanks for the video and I feel really sorry for you that you have to read so much crap. :(
Thanks for doing this. What you`ve said so far is pretty much what I would say about the book. Do you think the gal who gave you the book will let you videotape your conversation about the book after you`ve read it? That would be cool, as most scilons won`t discuss much.
I was once told that if I ever wrote anything that was not understood by the reader, that it was my own failing that I was unable to communicate the idea.
The fact that I am writing anything means that the burden of clear communication is on me, the writer, and not on readers.
Since when is Cult Leader L Ron Hubbard exempt from this rule? This is basically calls people morons because they can't understand some "great idea". Those "idea" people typically don't understand their idea themselves.
Good luck with the book. I've read a couple of Hubbard's books and they are complete trash, you will no doubt be needing more red sticky tabs.
No matter what you say to the scientologist after you have read the book, if it isn't totally in favour of Hubbard she will undoubtedly say that all your negativity will be coming from "misunderstoods".

Dr. Root sits on the advisory board of Narconon, and states he employs a few scientologists "so what"....
we all know what organization Dr. Root comes from and his business is very WISE!

But he's a Presbyterian, so CLEARLY there's no impropriety whatsoever.
