  • exellent,my freind.

  • The other great PT. Pete Townshend created the band Thunderclap Newman who recorded this song.

  • Great guitar...just bought my Getsch 5120 same color and awesome sound!

  • What about the other chords? you don't know the whole tune.

  • @jassbo What other chords?

  • Thanks for your great songs and hard work, I have learned a couple of your songs that I would have not thought of.doing.

Is that the G5120? and how do you like it? Neck? I see you use it on a lot of songs. I like thinner necks, such as Music Man(EB), Tele's, Martin's. I am looking for an F hole guitar that wont kill my budget and not sure which to go with. Not a lot of options in the value price that have quality, though the ES335's are 2k plus and don't seem to have good quality too...

  • @ZUMA48 If you like thinner necks, you probably wouldn't like the 5120. And you can certainly find an ES335 (or a 333, which is about half the price) of outstanding quality. There are clunker guitars of all kinds, but most Gibsons of the past 15 years are excellent guitars.

  • outstanding! Always loved this song and thanks for showing how it's played!

  • Thank you for taking the trouble to reply to me, given the many e-mails you get. I found Natural Born Bugie - brilliant and helpful, as always. It's great to see that you look after your guitars (the lyrics of John Hiatt's "Perfectly Good Guitar" always resonate with me). Have you ever tried an Chandler Austin Special? I tried one 4 years ago but hesitated to buy it as it was overpriced. I regreted it, as it's the only one I've seen in the UK. Chris

  • Wow! I haven't heard that in years. Nice job playing and thanks for transporting me back in time.

  • Almost Famous!

  • great job . I think this song came from the movie Strawberry Statement which has some great songs in it including Neal's Down by The River

  • Love the...t-shirt! Where did you get it and what does it say... And, of course, love the performance (and Pete Townsend trivia)...

  • @rcadian It's a t-shirt for a charity 5k race on Nantucket from about 20 years ago.

  • Really beautiful guitar, well done, I never realized that this was in open tuning.

  • Another classic. It would be fantastic if you could do Natural Born Bugie sometime. Thank you. Chris

  • @obsidianskies I've already done it.

  • Another reason why Townshend is a Genius.

    Your brilliant.

  • Little known fact: Pete Townshend played bass on the recording.

  • @weczq4 Produced it, too.

  • @weczq4 it's my understanding that pete played bass on the entire album...

  • Great work!

  • I agree completely with swatprof, Brilliant again!

  • Your ear for figuring out all these songs in open tuning is mind-boggling. Enjoyed reading that interview, by the way!
