@ saheb1b yes lufthansa does fly regularly,if i am not wrong its daily flight betwen FRA -DEL.

Both the new RWY 11/29 and the terminal are built by the GMR Group. The company is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. They compete with another Indian company called GVK, which is equally good. Sorry, the other comment had a vague error.

Yes, I have heard that the new terminal is very good. It has 78 aero-bridges that is the highest in the world for a single terminal. Also, the new RWY 11/29 is 4430 meters long, which is the longest in Asia or Europe for a civilian airport. Only some military airports have longer RWYs in the Himalaya region. Your video was interesting. By the way, I have not been to the Delhi airport yet.
One more thing, it is not smog outside but fog! It happens in Delhi due to its location and the season.

As the plane touches down you can see all the gigantic mansion estates, this did not exist back in 2000 when I visited.
Do you know the construction firm that built this terminal?
I hope you do get to visit, my test is the toilets, the toilets are clean and well kept. Great terminal.
