@bago510 okay..... so i got the links my abuelos are mexican and they dance just like the people in the links idk if that means the people in the links are wrong and the "real Cumbia" comes form africa (that was in one of the videos too ;) ) so when you learn the cumbia from africa you can say you know how to dance the "real" cumbia but right now for me there are diffrent types of cumbia but i value the information and thanks :)

@bago510 You should know that there are different styles of Cumbia if your half Mexican. And each style has it's different dance. Cumbia isn't just one single style of dancing, it has many different styles to it. You got Colombiana, Sonidera, Tejana, Callera, Nortena, and many more. And it's not just limited to Columbia. Cumbia is in several countries like Mexico, Peru, Guatamala, El Salvador, Venezuela. People from their dance it too.

i don't want to be mean but Mexicans don't know how to dance Cumbia lol and i'm half Mexican and i can say that . i suggest watch some Videos of how you dance the Real Cumbia Colombiana then try it out . i actually usedto dance Cumbia like this till some Colombianos thought me how to dance the real Cumbia . theres a lot of Videos of how to dance real Cumbia on youtube .
