  • Danm, he was lucky! :O

  • This plane seems under powered or it was severely over weight!

  • Damn that was very close!!!!

  • lucky lol

  • he need a better motor

  • he had Elevator down almost the whole take off, that's why he didnt get up in time.

  • @rhampton1914 He has down elevator because its a taildragger numbnuts... you gotta use down elevator to get the tail up and reduce the drag from a tail low/3-point angle of attack... then once you have your speed built up you can ease it off the ground...

  • Bastard is lucky he did not stall and spin into the drink, what hapend to weight and distance calculations???

  • must of bin a warm day

  • my guess he was very heavy and not much performance with that old stinson. He was holding a bunch of down elevator to keep the tail up.Bet there was people in the back seats.

  • def not enough power....

  • Wow!!

  • Must have been too heavy or problem with rpm motor.

  • Bet they thought they'd had it!

  • MY GOD!! THATS WHY I LOVE YOUTUBE.

  • Now that is what I call "fully comitted"

  • Now thats what I call a "bush" pilot!

  • The airport is Duncan, British Columbia. It is at sea level. Plenty long enough for most small aircraft. The airplane is a Stinson 108-3. Oler ones did not have flaps. Several things couls contribute to what youère watching. The plane may have a prop set for cruise and not climb. Although I canèt see passengers, the plane has seating for four. He could have full fuel and a heavy takeoff weight. All of that aside, this is a sea level takeoff and performance should be much higher.

  • how the heck can this be an air-strip?!

  • wtf!!!

  • The is an Aronca Champ. It has no flaps

  • sphincter squeezer, either that or he knew exactly what he was up to...yeah right!

  • Fresh Underwear Anyone?

  • Tooooo heavy and way under powered. Flaps?

  • oh my, bet it took several attempts to get the pleats out of the seat,,,jeezeeeeeee

  • Did he bother with ore take-off checks? Flaps are not just for landing
