I do not give a thing for what Bungie has said in all honest, if I did, then they could just turn the Halo series into Call of Duty with a word, and then that would be true "because they said so". That logic is unusable.
The list goes on forever whats broken. Storyline, time, technology, everything like that is out of place.

The Supercarrier and Corvettes you saw for the first half of the game were sent in covertly by the Covy to cut off communications, and since they used stealth were not detected by the fleet. The Corvette that attacked Swordbase did reveal itself and was shot down by a Mac.
@WNxAtlas Bungie have put in effort to tie in the canon for it, but you will still find people that try to find flaws. It's pretty sad considering most of the stuff they list are either lacking evidence (like I said earlier), or they just don't understand the plot.

There are many other situations like this.

Where did the Covenant get all their sudden new technology from? (Giant stealth fields, teleportation and so on) Where did it go afterwards? Why and how is Dr Halsey at two places at once? Where did Reach's all MAC cannons and the warfleet of 300 ships go? Why are they testing a version of the battlerifle (DMR) when the gun was already in service at the time of Harvest?
@WNxAtlas Well for one, nobody ever said Covy never possessed such tech. Lack of evidence is not evidence of lack. Covy can use cloacking, so it's not impossible to think that they can't cover a whole ship, especially considering how massive the Spires were. Halsey is not in different places. Where did you hear that? The DMR is a weapon mostly used by the Army, and is NOT a Br version.

Spartan 3s were the successors of the 2s, they were cheaper to produce and in larger numbers, and still went through augmentation. For weapons, i already told you. Most of the weapons found on Reach were of Army use, not Marines. They used different weapon variants.
@WNxAtlas If you want to talk weapons, tell me why aren't Brs in Mombassa at the time of ODST? Or ARs at the time of Halo 2? Why are the weapons significantly changed throughout the series? Same for the Covy, why do the Elites grow humps in Halo 2? Aesthetics have nothing to do with cannon.

@zealot491 I have both consoles and both are great.
Ps3 can play CoD and Uncharted and God of War on one disc. Xbox would be able to play it on 3 discs.
But still, you buy a console for the games that are released on it or which your friends are on, not for the quality. As long as you can game flawless on it without to much lag or bugs or console will break (red ring) it's good IMO.
But i love both and you should try ps3 to one time except for being a fanboy.

To be an Elite on firefight, Change teams. Simple. start off on the blue team rather than the red team. (if your the only one playing there will be no spartans to fight.

Multiplayer is different, Halo's has a different setting, different gameplay, different experience.
Cod is all fast paced and just see or get seen and get killed or kill in that same 3 seconds, and halo is more slowly and it takes skill with all the armor locks and other armor abilities.
Cod = easy but awesome most of the times and Halo = awesome. It's just which setting u prefer.

To be an Elite on firefight, Change teams. Simple. start off on the blue team rather than the red team. (if your the only one playing there will be no spartans to fight.

Multiplayer is different, Halo's has a different setting, different gameplay, different experience.
Cod is all fast paced and just see or get seen and get killed or kill in that same 3 seconds, and halo is more slowly and it takes skill with all the armor locks and other armor abilities.
Cod = easy but awesome most of the times and Halo = awesome. It's just which setting u prefer.
