  • Marvellous to see. An interesting thing about them is they had such distinctive voices; whereas these days, I sometimes think people have been chosen because they have the 'right' sort of voice, and I find them sometimes hard to distinguish.

I always loved Sam Costa's voice; completely reminds me of the cosy, warm side of my childhood, it does.

  • I was living in London in 1947 to 1949 and 'Much Binding' was my favourite show on the wireless but I never expected to see it now on You Tube. Thank you, You Tube and supporters.

  • kenneth Horne was the king of broadcasting. And Maurice Denham was on par with Peter sellers for all his wonderfall voices. The great thing about Much Binding is you can tell they're all having great fun. great clip!

  • Kenneth Horne was simply amazing in Round The Horne. I was introduced to that show through my dad recently.

  • @SylentEcho I preferred the series precedoing RtH, namely Beyond Our Ken. That always seemed to me funnier, where RtH seemed to me to become just a bit more dependant on innuendo.

  • Just got some Much Binding CD's. Well done for posting this!!!

  • Lovely. Absolutely wonderful :o)

Kenneth Horne has such a lovely voice.
