  • Put it this way Toyota is so dumb they don't even have a 3/4 or 1 ton truck I'd rather have a chevy

  • I had the magnaflow muffler put on my truck (2000 1500 5.3) in April, single in dual out 4 inch tips. I am told by all my friends that I need to go louder, I am thinking that too, it sounds nice and doesn't get to noticable when your out of 1st and 2nd but it's not loud enough for me.

  • Pretty easy install?

  • Wow, I like it. It seems to have a lower, more meaty rumble than the Flowmaster 40 I'm considering for my truck. I might have to rethink things and go with a Magnaflow.

  • is this single in single out

  • oh my god so sexy. I put dual magna flows on my '98 silverado 5.7 (350) and sounded amazing just like this. then I got into an accident and the truck got wrote off not even 2000 kms later :(

  • Wow sounds awesome, just found my favorite exhaust

  • all you did was buy the magnaflow muffler? that sounds bold... really nice sound..

  • i have that same exact muffler and same exhaust tip. that muffler is beast bro. because its quiet when idle but gives off a nice rumble when you step on it.

  • Sounds good man. I have an 02 silverado and I'm thinking about putting a magnaflow exhaust on it, but I'm worried it'll be too quiet.

  • I've got the same exact setup on my 2000 Silverado and LOVE IT! Sounds great man!

  • BENZ HAHA ILL PULL U OUT WHEN IT SNOW'S,BENZ HE SAYS HAHAHAHA!!!

  • That is a really nice sounding exhaust for a really good price. I plan on doing the same exhaust on my GMC Sierra.

  • You can only experience the raw sound of a chevy ecspecially when the chevy is a v8...thats AMERICAN

  • that`s the sound ;) :D

  • we're augueing about Ford,Chevy, and Toyota on an exhuast clip...

  • i would like to put it on my 2010 silverado 5.4

can you tell me the price ??? i really like that sound !

    thanks !!

  • very sweet for a HEARTBEAT-YEAH GO CHEVROLET!

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks I literally did not understand a word of what you typed.

  • @shizlnit SOoo true

  • @shizlnit thats what im saying

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks if you would rather buy a benz or lexus then dont be looking up truck videos. by the way its a contradiction of your name to say you want a benz or lexus. stupid people i swear look up videos they KNOW they wont like...

  • @tsukikoami toyota owns lexus tard

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks i gotta benz for ya

  • @cholzbaugh AS FAR AS TOYOTA GOES HOPE UR EXAUST DONT STICK THEY CANT MAKE A TRUCK TO SAVE THERE LIVES..

  • @tsukikoami they would just rather have a rice burner

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks take ur jap crap elsewhere, we don't care here we all know the Chevy has proven their reliability and durability while Toyota has yet to make a quality fullsize truck that can hang with Ford and Chevy, hell even Dodge and Nissan leave Toyota in the dust, they suck all Toyota can beat is the Ridgeline and that's not even a truck so suck it

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks shut up

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks did you ever take an elementary composition or english class?

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks Dude TOYota blows chevy, ford, gmc, hell even dodge's cock

  • @mrkittycat110 wtf?!?! wat about the lfa

  • @ajc83 wait, what? if youre talking about my comment i was hacked

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks who cares if everyone has one? You ever figure that there is a reason for that? if you want to stand out go walk down the road with a diaper on and your finger up your ass. I drive a Ford F150 and have enough stuff to set mine apart. Believe me people know mine because of what's been done. Reliabiluty is reason for 7 @ a light. Your TOY is probably at the dealer, fucked up like every other toyota. Point made.

  • @StephenOCCMan Thank you. Only douche bags and morons buy a truck based on wanting to stand out and be different. I drive a Silverado but I am American trucks all the way.

  • @aqinthe I mean it's the truth man. I own a Chevy car, and haven't been exactly impressed with quality, but whatever. I still like owning it and driving it. I admit theres a shit load of F150's out there. Mine is exceptionally unique. I have never seen another one on the street with Cragar SS on it like mine has so...It's pretty much it's own.

  • @StephenOCCMan I just watched the vid of your truck on your channel. It looks good. I like the billet grill. That is one of the things I would like to add to my truck.

My Silverado looks stock but I didn't get it to stand out. I got it to drive and enjoy.

I have owned Ford and Dodge trucks in the past but I will never buy a Japanese truck.

  • @aqinthe sorry for my delay in responding. thanks for the compliment...i love my truck and my grille. goodluck getting yourself one as well...exhaust is great as well. do u have one??

  • @StephenOCCMan I have a 02 Silverado with K&N FIPK and 2 chamber flowmaster exhaust among a few other things. I have a few vids of it up on my channel (shameless plug for my channel) I love my truck. I am looking to upgrade my shocks, any suggestions?

  • @aqinthe depends if you are lifting it or lowering it. lifts I like rancho. lower i like eibach pro damper

  • @StephenOCCMan It's a stock 4x4 (lifted a little in the front.) So I'm just upgrading the stock shocks.

  • @aqinthe i would suggest bilstein shocks on a lifted pickup..with any kind of wear and tear they have a good warranty

  • @StephenOCCMan Shut the hell up Stephen lol

  • @04YJGTO man kyle you shut up! haha. you know im right

  • @StephenOCCMan Yeah you are but Ill stick with my old beater truck with its custom one off sun faded paint job. Nobody can copy that!!!

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks you're an idiot, you say chevy blows, yet you just said you sit at a spotlight surrounded by chevy's.

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks fuckin idiot

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks That's the stupidest comment I have read in a while.

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks BOY!!!! You are about as LAME as they get!! Get your 10 year-old Ass up out of that chair and go back to school and LEARN something...like how to write, for starters!!!

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks can you haul a trailer of bikes and quads with a lexus? or a toyhauler? you are a moron.

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks your a fucking idiot almost all ricers have had the same body style for longer than any chevy has

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks usually when you see 8 of the same truck, that means that company is doing something right. not something wrong unlike toyota who im surprised they know what a truck and a v8 is, even knows anything about half ton vehicles. and that last part you put makes no god damn sense at all

  • @ilovetoyotatrucks leave him alone!!! Based on his hatred for Chevy, love of Benz, Lexus, and his poor English composition, hes probably black.

  • sounds good

  • awsome sound! thinking about doing this with my 03 chevy Z71 5.3L. do u have the part # for the exhaust tip as well?

  • EVEN THE CAMERA SHAKES.... SWEET

  • I used the exact same muffler setup--welded into stock headpipe and tailpipe. Sounds great, but its a little too quiet. Seems quite a bit quieter than the truck in the video. Mine's a 02 with at 4.8.

  • Hey fokes go and check out my video of my 2000 chevy z71 1500 with flowmaster 70 series. rate leave a comment. i just bought these flowmaster 70 series and put them on myself i love them they have the perfect sound go check it out, just click on my username and the video is posted on my channel.

  • Nice one of the best sounding Chevys I ever heard

  • Yeah Koool, I love that deep throat sound Nothing like a Flowmasters !! they are higher pitched. MagnaFlow Dag nabbit !!

  • Sounds sweet and smooth!, Ide still straight pipe it though, i love the sound of a straight pie 326! nice truck!

  • Finally, a nice sounding Chevy vs. horrible popping /raspy straight pipes.

  • I love that exhaust! I think ive found my new system!

  • awesome deep and loud really nice!

  • That's the best exhaust I've ever heard in my life. Sexay. ;)

  • what size tip is on that.....do you have a part number for the tip

  • now it needs a cam...bad!

  • DAM I LOVE UR EXHAUST!!!!

  • that is some mean rumble right there !! great deep tone,

  • sweet.

  • Is it 4" all the way, or just 4" tips?

  • omg i love the.. depth of the rumble..

  • i think you mean the part # 12259.

  • how is the noise in the cab? does it have the dreaded popping sound or is it a deep tone? Thanks

  • its a deep tone its reall loud around 3k rpms when you are cruising it sounds great.

  • @tylertlc

You cruise at 3K rpms? Seems a little high...

  • what do you think of the flowMaster 50 muffler series with the FlowMaster force 2 exhaust system duals .back side sides exit. stainless steel rolled edge tips 4" cowboy exit....maybe!!!

  • I have the same exhaust... I need a new muffler for mine.. its not loud enough for me. But before i do that im going to see how headers make it sound.

  • sounds good I am putting the Magnaflow Catback on my 5.3, LS4.

  • you think magnaflow is the way togo

  • Yes it is. I have this on GP GXP which is the same engine as this but on a LS platform. I bought a full magnaflow cat-back and it sounds really good. I need to do a res delete and and DP and it will sound wicked.

  • sounds nice

  • now that is da shit Magnaflow Rulz

  • magnaflow suck flomaster and cherrybomb are way better

  • Any 5.3L is a V8 This is a 327 Vortec. and it has 295 Horse power stock.

  • at the crank

  • Actually a 5.3 is 325 cubic inches..

  • actually it is an 323-325 they changed with the body style changes

  • u are exactly right, they did change with body style.

  • actualy its a 325, and its 310 stock

  • I am getting my 06 Silverado set up the same way because yours sounds awesome.

  • wow!!!!!!!!! by far the sexiest sounding exhaust on youtube major props but i was wondering what exactly is under it true duals or cat back?!?

  • Nice man

  • lmao stock 5.3L making 700 horses..........this just made my day.

  • LMAOAOAOOAOAO to j82s1

    lol good laugh

ima put up my truck next week

2000 5.3 with 3 in catback through flowmaster

  • j82s1 your fucking retarted a ls1 corvette doesnt even pull those numbers on a dyno to get even to the 700 hp mark you need at least a cammed 408 stroker plus a 200 shot nos ..keep your mouth closed

  • Naw its more like 300

I own one, in fact Ive onwed 2.

  • Show me how to get 850 hp out of a N/A 5.3L Engine that doesn't rev past 6k and i will literally give you a BJ and become your slave. Until that day, stop posting stupid shit

  • This is sweet sounding a buddy of mine just bought on for his truck.

mf-performance com these guys are selling it dirt cheap and include the free shipping.

I prefer magnaflow over flowmaster anyday

  • ya, well I figured v8, but I mean Chevy does still make a v6, I am not sure if you are aware of that IDIOT

  • well yeah your right, but one who can't tell the difference between a v8 and v6 through sound is the true IDIOT!!!!

  • i have a v6 on my 2005 chevy silverado

  • thanks stepho and for you sp33 thats why people put exhaust kits on vehicles, to make them sound tougher than they are, which means it could've been a v6!

  • it still says its a 5.3L...which isnt a v6 lol

  • Is that a v8 or v6?

  • i like that. nice and mellow!

  • I love it. I can even feel the power.

  • K&N fipk cold air intakes or the like add horsepower high rpm but rob you of low end torque, that you drive in 90% of the time(<2000) I had your truck. I put on ceramic coated doug thorley headers, hi flo cats and magnaflow muffler. I FRIGGIN LOVE MAGNAFLOWS. best tone out there!

  • Get rid of the torque management and the torque loss would be insignificant. Also adding increased intake flow without a major increase in exhuast flow won't produce much power. It won't breathe in as much if it can't exhale it all.

Gotta have a balance. Plus the stock intake is pretty adequate for most power increases anyway. Once you get a good cam, big nice high flow exhaust then an intake would make a huge difference.

  • These magnaflow cat back system are truly amazing i gained so much power and performance from my car it was awesome!

mf-performance()com is where i purchased mine

  • I was looking to do something simple like this on my 03 5.3 4x4. How hard is it to do the muffler swap?? I havent looked at my exhaust yet so is there any welding? I live in northern NY so road salt/rust is an issue in the winter. I would like to keep it as rust proof as possible.

  • Any droning in the cab at highway speeds?

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't see a reply to this question. I'm wondering the same thing. Is the lovely deep tone enjoyed around town, and then dissappears on the highway?

  • That sounds awesome, do you have the stock cat still?

  • Dude what kind of Magnaflow is that. That thing is bad man. I love that.

  • magnaflow less restricting??? what are you smoking!!! magnas are straight thru!!! flowmasters are more restricting at any HP level. the 44s are a lil different!

  • yeah lol magnaflows are awesome i got that put on my 03 avalanche Apr 2 and i already burnt through most of the packing, it sounds great.

  • Anyone knows whats better, Magnaflow or Flowmaster exhaust?

  • I would say flowmaster.. but I prefer magnaflow's sound on a lower hp motor. flowmaster however is less "restricting" you could say.. on a higher power modified engine.

  • ohh, cause i have a 99 expedition, all stock except the headlights and tail lights and wanted to get an exhaust and cold air intake kit.

  • i would go with magnaflow.. its a little cheaper (i think ?) and will be fine as far as air flow haha.. i have a 04 silverado 1500.. but it has the 4.3 :( still sounds good though!!

  • can someone just do the K&N intake and some flowmaster or magnaflow alone.

is the header installatioin a must when doing K&N intake and exhust?

    I have a chevy 1996 v8 350 5.7 L

and I am trying to make it "engine loud"

  • no, but headers make a big difference. i say headears, about 6 in of pipe, a glasspack, straight pipe to the rear and a magnaflow on the end. i have this setup on my 2000 bonnevile and its amazing

  • yo I love it bro, it sounds throaty as shit.. nice

  • Comment removed

  • Hey I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado. Would this exhaust fit on mine and how much did this exact one cost. And what website did u buy this from. Thanks Corey

  • So does it have the stock pipe, or did you have a shop bend new tubing? I think I'm gonna do the exact same set up, sounds great!

  • damn son you need knobby tires and that truck would look S-W-E-E-T!

  • sounds great dude

  • i'm sold! thanks for posting!

  • I just decided what muffler ima use :D

  • ultra flo mufflers are nice, too. i use them and they are much quieter than flowblasters but have a nice turbo sound under rev. my catalytic converter is gutted which probably helps alot, too.

  • Nice sound and look. What model Magnaflow kit was this? I have an 05 GMC Sierra 5.3L I want to do this to and I really like the sound of this one. Thanks.

  • Any sort of drone when you're cruising on the highway?

  • yes in some cases horses can go away, like when i had no muffler on my truck, i lost some back pressure and my truck bogged down.

  • What degree exit is that out the back?

  • Will This Fit A 2000 Chevy Silverado With a 5.3

  • that is one hell of a rumble! go easy on me, im 15 and know nothing about cars, but do they add ponies too? and which ones are better, for ex. borla, cat back, flowmasters etc. and how much is a decent one? how much ponies CAN they add?

  • it all depends on the car/truck youre adding it to. generally i prefer Borla's and yes they can add horsies, although some are known to reduce some power.

  • of o bought this in/out muffler what would be the difference of buying the whole catback exhaust

  • How's your overall performance and mileage after installing this? I'll probably be doing this to my truck. Sounds good!

  • is that a cat back?

  • read the description..

  • is that 3inch pipe??

  • i have a question. why are exhaust systems so high priced?

and wats the ups and downs about them?

  • rising steel prices for 1, and most ups, they sound great, allow the engine to exhale better and can improve gas mileage only slightly due to the better flowing pipes and muffler. down is you may lose a tiny bit of low end torque, sometimes you wont get what you want, sometimes you can get ticketed for being too loud...

  • this is what a stock/bolt on truck should sound like. its rediculous when you have guys cutting cats and running straight pipes on near stock trucks. magnaflow is the best exhaust for the price IMO.

  • chevy <3

  • Thats bad, not to loud but it has that bad A rumble to it.

  • i LOVE that deep rumble of a silverado!!!

  • Nice.

  • the 06 5.3 sounds alot different than the 07 5.3 the 07 year model sounds pretty good stock...but who needs stock anyway!!

  • that sounds awsome, i have an 03 5.3 gmc and i want to do that setup to mine, after the muffler did you use the stock tail pipe? what kind of tip, dimensions? let me know please, thanks

  • I have a 03 5.3 z71 with dual flomaster 40's with 4x18'' tips. sounds damn good just to give you some ideas about it.

  • sounds bad ass

  • very nice deep tone. I just installed cat back magnaflow on my 5.3 2002 silverado and does not sound as deep yours. Quit hatin amermuscle, dodge is just ford and chevy leftover parts.

  • I have had Magnaflow on everything I own, I had A 2006 silverado with the 4.8 everything was stock except the muffler I just ran a single and it was louder then my buddies chevy with dual flows plus it sounded a hell of alot better...I now have a 2007 gmc with the 5.3 dont know if i want to put magnaflows on it cause of the 4 cylinder mode that it has...any advice?

  • I am looking at getting the same muffler for my truck, did you install this yourself?

  • wait a second, you have tock headers, you still have the cat. converter in, and just this cat back exhuast with the tips?. that sounds awesome. I have stock eveything with a flo-pro cat back exhaust system and it doesn't sound that good, ....does the size of the tips make a difference?

  • Yep, stock manifold and cat. The length of the tip will make more of a difference than the diameter. A larger diameter will make it have a little deeper tone, while a long tip will give you more of a "hollow" sound. So I went with a medium length and large diameter (4") tip

  • thank you, i am probly going to get the same muffler for my 2000 chevy silverado, its just a bolt on right?

  • No, you must weld it on. Installation cost me 40$

  • Ok thank you!

  • Way better than flowmasters, this clip had changed my mine to getting a magnaflow. Way deeper tone and not raspy, I like the low-end grunt like tim the toolman.

  • not bad man not bad at all .. sounds good .. definitely the best i've heard on youtube

  • I just felt I had to tell you that you have probably the best sounding truck on Youtube. It has just enough but not to much! Magnaflow should be paying you for this....I'm sure more than a handful of guys has gone to the muffler shop and traded out thier Flows....

  • hey that link to the exact muffler you have doesnt work. can you give me a valid link because i want to buy that muffler asap.

  • hey man im really glad i found this video. i have a 03 silverado Z71 and used to have a 01 Z71 with flows but didnt really ever like the sound, maybe because they were turn downs. but i love the sound of that magnaflow. i am definetly going to buy it right now.

  • i got magnaflow mufflers for my 87 350. dont even know what they sound like tho because im rebuilding the engine. almost done. i know the mufflers are they smallest in size magnaflow offers and im getting true duals with no cats or any of that shit.

  • i have a 2001 with 5.3,that magnaflow sounds sweet, not to loud and raspy were the cops hassle you, just a nice rumble

  • sweet sound I want them on my 2005 gmc 5.3l

  • i just ordered the same muffler for my tahoe hope it sounds like that

  • turn downs will sound even better; get the new super 44 from flowmaster

  • Thats the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a 5.3L! Flows are played out on 5.3's.

  • check out my truck

  • Now that is what a small-block Chevy needs to sound like. Nice, rich tone there.

  • sound good
