damn dude, how do I get this amp setting on my amp, ive jus got a standard line 6 amp. Also, the 2nd verse, where did u find the tab for that?

puh ... i can't remember my settings, it's already a few months ago ;) try to get a nice crunch-tone (NOT high-gain!) which is nearly clean when you play softly (i.e. at 3:13). your EQ-settings shouldn't be too aggressive. you can also try to get this result by using your guitar's tone knob. and of course the neck pickup will be perfect for this ;)

Superb cover man , the only thing that isnt perfect is at the 3 minute mark , johnny does double stops (bends two strings) , cool thing is he bends them to the same pitch , you can find corect tabs for that on ultimate-guitar , apart from that great cover.

A couple of questions. Firstly although its a hybrid part you're playing, thom plays most of that whilst singing right?

Also how do you stop all the notes from all crashing whist strumming the main riff? Is there a specific muting technique, because when i pay it all of the strings that I strum sort of bleed into another, you know what i mean? Makes it sound really messy, where yours is super sharp.

try to mute the strings with your left-hand-fingers directly on the neck! you have to lay your fingers very soft on the "un-used" strings ... difficult to explain ...
