Don't buy one of these from Harbor Freight until you read the Harbor Freight customer reviews. To Harbor Freights credit, they publish them all and most of them say that these things don't heat very hot, and they fail after roughly an hour or less of usage. The cost is now $25.

I agree with the comments. When burning EPS is about as toxic as pine. The black smoke is carbon soot. Sure you should be in a well ventilated place - by highly toxic? Not true!

thanks for the vid... just got mines from harbor freight.com and i got it for $9.99 on sale, it works great... i use it to cut styrofoam for party and birthday decorations.....
