@Garth223 You are horse shit. No providion for Art. 15 for a tattoo. All tattoo can get you is disqual from Recruiter, DI, and Embasy duty. It can also result in denial of re-enlistment. Additionally 6 months restriction is impossible for Art 15 at any level. Company level is 14 day max.

@Robbob9933 Guess what. I wasnt charged with Art 15. I was charged with Article 92 for failure to obey the Marine Corps Tattoo Policy. AND they can suspend some of your sentence for a period of time, which means you are ineligible for promotion for that period. I wasnt on restriction for 6 months, I was sentenced 14/14, with 7 days of the EPD suspended for 6 months. So... shut the fuck up about what you clearly misunderstand.

@JTMondal Got my only one tossed on appeal. Got a Company Grade and only punishment listed was reduction from E-5 to E-4. Stupid Butters forgot he had not the authority to demote E-5s and above. Had a beer in the fridge back when that was taboo. I still payed a bit, got assigned to the SgtMajor for a few days by the Btln Commander. Butters was pissed later and bitched that my appeal fucked up his fit. rep.

When I was at Lejeune, we used to mix a drink called the NJP, it was Soco, wild turkey, jack daniels, jim beam, crown royal, mixed with some sweet and sour and a little coke. Tastes a lot better than it sounds.

But, more to the point, being on restriction sucks ass, a couple years ago I got 60 days restriction and just could not wait to get off of it.

For all you civvies out there, "restriction" is a lot like being grounded, except you're an adult and they make you go to work and not get paid
